Dante I stand in front of the mirror as I finish getting dressed. Black dress pants and a shirt, no tie, with the top buttons unbuttoned. I rarely like wearing anything around my neck except for my white gold chain, which my mother gave me when I turned fifteen. It holds a wing pendant similar to my tattoo, only with two wings. Behind them is written in Italian, "Sempre con te" (Always with you). She had said those wings were mine, that the phrase was so I would always know she'd be with me, protecting me, that I'd need them when I was ready to fly. In a way, she was right. I needed those wings a lot when I lost them. They were what I held onto. Her words are etched deeply into my memories.

Questions and exclamations filled the air, and Angel struggled not to cringe under the scrutiny of the entire pack. Why couldn't I have just controlled myself? she asked herself. The center patch was newer, the devil, who now had multicolored braids, sat on the motorcycle with a halo hanging haphazardly on the left horn, giant angel wings flowed out behind him. The bottom rocker declared her to be Sinners Daughter and the top one proclaimed her as The Devil Herself.

Angel stared at the vast blue sky and said in a somber tone, “Jacque, what will happen to us in the future?” Gale cast a fixed stare at the blue sky. His gaze was thoughtful and sharp. It was as if he could pierce through the skies and change the order of the entire universe with his gaze. “Angel, you must believe in me. We can definitely fulfill our wishes.” There was a dark expression on Angel’s face as she nodded. Truthfully, after the countless failures and reincarnations that she had experienced, she no longer expected to have her wishes fulfilled. However, she did not want to discourage Gale. Therefore, she was willing to give him her all and accompany him on this journey.

The place was illuminated with a soft, radiant light, creating an almost surreal atmosphere. Surrounding the waterfall, a multitude of angels with various hair colors could be seen. They flew gracefully in the air, their movements harmonious and filled with grace. Some perched on rocks and branches near the water's edge, while others dived playfully into the pool, creating ripples of light and reflections that danced on the surface. Khione turned to her daughter with a gentle smile as they beheld this wondrous place. "This... is the ancestral plane of angels."
