Selene insisted. "Fine. How about we take the risk and visit tomorrow morning? I can't leave you to go alone. I don't trust them." Sia agreed. At that moment, it felt as though a heavy weight had been lifted off Selene's shoulders. Gap oily, she nodded her head and laid on Sia's bed to sleep. All through the night. Selene only dreamt about the man she had a one-night stand with and fantasized about being with him forever after meeting him again.

I usually set my alarm for 7 am, then head out to help prepare Gavin's family breakfast. I opened my eyes wide as I realized that my bottom was in a lot of pain. I bit my lower lip, and my memory reflexively rewound. Last night wasn't a dream. Gavin's warm caress was still there. He really came for me and filled my night with warmth. It was not like before that I thought that what Gavin had done last night was a dream. But what if it was just a dream? I turned my head slowly to confirm who was sleeping beside me. For a moment, I rounded my eyes to stare at the man who was still asleep under the blanket with a shady face. I shook my head, unable to believe what the man was doing.

“No!” “Callie.” Lucas’s hand lands on my shoulder. My eyes flutter open and I sit up, messy hair in my face. “Your heart is racing, and I can smell your fear. You’re having a nightmare.” “Yeah,” I breathe. “I was. Thanks for waking me up.” Lucas sets a book down and takes me in his arms. His cool skin against mine is comforting. I let my eyes fall shut for another few seconds as he slowly runs his hand up and down my back. “I didn’t mean to fall asleep.”

With no knowledge of which way to go, I hit something hard and I black out. The next thing I know I wake up screaming in my bed, I shiver uncontrollably as the dried sweat makes my hair stick to my head. The sheets tangled at the foot of the bed, but my heart beat is already slowing because I’m at home safe and secure from any of those monsters out there in the woods. It was just a nightmare. In all the 17 years of my life, that would have to be the scariest nightmare I have ever had. I know I can’t go back to sleep after having a nightmare like that, so I get my phone out and check the time, its 2 in the morning I still have 5 hours until I have to get up. What am I going to do? I figure I

“I promise.” “Good.” “Can I race tomorrow?” “Sleep.” He smiled a little, then tucked his hand back beneath his cheek. Five minutes later, his breathing evened out. I stayed on the edge of the bed longer than I needed to. The moon night-light cast a pale glow across the wall. A sock lay beneath the chair. The dinosaur book rested facedown on the rug. On the nightstand, the little black car pointed toward the door as if it had been assigned to guard the room.

With that I fell into a deep slumber. I woke up with a pain in my neck,it wasn't easy sleeping on the bare floor. Also it seemed I had caught a cold, I sneezed and my eyes watered. I checked the time on my Watch..it was one of my most prized possession, it was given to me by Christine as a birthday gift. It was 6:30 AM. I quickly arranged myself, I was hungry as hell,but there was no way I could get anything to eat. The restaurant usually opens by 7:30AM, it would be a very long time but I have no choice.

I'm quiet because I actually feel guilty about all of this, I feel like I would have been able to do something. “No, that's not it, mom. I'm not scared of the news, and I will not get any nightmares,” I say and mom smiles. “Goodnight honey!” mom says and I wave, “Goodnight mom,” I say. She flips my light switch off and darkness floods the entire room. I turn off my phone and now I'm in absolute darkness, the kind of darkness where I can't even tell whether I'm lying or standing. After a few seconds of counting sheep, I fade. into my subconscious, gradually.

Kelvin stirred in his sleep, turning to face the other side. A cold substance touched his wrists, and he jerked up, struggling to flutter open his heavy eyelids. Something soft and ticklish trailed down his chest and stomach and then touched his shaft. When he opened his eyes, Hashmuk was sitting between his wide-spread legs, and he sat up, blushing profusely. He tried to pull the quilt over his nakedness, but Hashmuk bit him because he grabbed all the covers on the bed and threw them away.

I was done packing all my things before twelve midnight, I took another shower and I put on my nightgown. I continued reading the book ‘Haunting Adeline,’ it was very interesting. I had read even chapters and I could not put the book down. I got through to chapter fifteen before I decided I was tired and I needed to sleep so I could be well rested for my journey tomorrow. I avoided drinking tonight so I would wake up refreshed.

I was meeting my younger sister Niamh for a drink after work at one of London’s swanky hotels. Now, you might think there is nothing unusual about two sisters catching up over a cocktail but it’s nothing short of a miracle I still have a sister. It’s also a miracle Niamh could not only book the venue but get there without her support worker. And it’s an even bigger miracle I arrived at the hotel more or less on time.
