In the nooks and crannies of the city, night workers were beginning to replace those rushing home, while the towering buildings showed the ongoing activity through their illuminated windows. Wade was one of the many people still tied to work, staying in his office as the night wore on. He didn't feel tired, his focus entirely on the pile of documents on his desk, the glowing laptop and a cup of coffee that had grown cold since earlier in the evening. It was almost midnight. I flip the lamp switch on and I glimpse at the alarm clock, “This can't be. What is the probability that this is also a coincidence?” It's 2:00 AM again. I woke up at exactly 2:00 AM the previous night after having a nightmare about the old lady, and today I woke up at the exact time as yesterday after having a nightmare about the same old.
