Married to the Werewolf Lord

Married to the Werewolf Lord

About finishing up I remembered the daycare situation. “We should should change his daycare too” “What about daycare?” “I’m pulling him out. Riverside Prep accepts midyear transfers.” She freezes. “You’re joking.” “No. The supernatural daycare is better for him. “They've got verified threat protocols, layered access points, and secure classrooms.” Lora didn't even blink. “It also costs fifteen thousand dollars per semester. And it’s packed with rich kids who get ponies for their birthdays.” “So?” “So Alex is three, Erin!"

The Nightmare

The Nightmare

Wednesday I got up late and went to the kitchen after making a trip to the bathroom. I was surprised to see that Dad wasn't up yet. I made a bowl of cereal and went to watch the news. The reports were terrifying. This illness was now being dubbed The Nightmare since it made you sleep more and more until you just didn't wake up. The Nightmare was being reported in every country in the world and every state in the US. "It's impossible to determine the death toll or how many are infected at this time. Officials are now advising to stay home if possible. The hospitals are overrun as are all clinics and doctor offices. Stay home. Stay safe" the anchor said as my Dad finally walked in.

Really engaging story with an interesting take on the usual werewolf themes - hope you are able to update soon though as I’m dying to know what happens next! It’s been a while since the last one, hope everything is ok with you

Great book. Well paced, intriguing characters with very solid world building. My one qualm is that there are, at times, too many characters. Often there are a lot of names being thrown around and its hard to tell who's who.

Nightmares

They did everything together and cuddled in her bed whenever she was lonely or sad . Every time they were together, Juana felt good, but she couldn't hide the fact that her greatest fear was losing her. Sorry, I Own The Nightmare

Sorry, I Own The Nightmare

[Welcome to Eternal Nightmare. Survival is victory.] The cold, robotic female voice blasted through the dark while I was sprawled on the couch doomscrolling. The next second, a white flash nuked my vision and forced my eyes shut. When I opened them again, my living room had straight-up rage quit and turned into a blood-red wasteland. "Okay, what the hell?" I squinted and spotted my six-foot-two husband, Adrian Chase, already doing the whole protective-dad thing with one arm around our son.

Alpha Brat

Alpha Brat

I woke up this morning in a panic at dawn, convinced the last week had been some kind of erotic stress hallucination caused by unemployment and untreated trauma. Then I rolled over, saw the matte black credit card sitting on my nightstand and remembered that the giant hot men are real. And I work for them now. The daycare itself is chaos disguised as order. It’s beautiful, obviously. Everything here is beautiful. Warm wood floors, huge windows looking out into the forest, shelves lined with expensive toys that probably came from artisanal Scandinavian forests where the trees are sung to before harvesting. But beneath all the P*******t perfection a weird undercurrent of tension hums through t

Alpha King's Human Luna

Alpha King's Human Luna

I could understand that Dad might be more attached to the date, instead of the fact of whether the parents of the pups would attend the event or not. “Mr. Woods, Ragnar needs to return to his class,” Osmond Brown said again. “Isn’t he too young to study here?” I asked, looking at Ragnar and then at him. “He doesn't study here. We have started daycare, play school, and preschool this year after receiving multiple parents' requests. I can explain it in detail." I looked at Adler, who also looked clueless because it was the department that was still managed by Mom. ‘I’m sorry, Alpha,’ he apologized.

Dear Ex Husband Wants Me Back

Dear Ex Husband Wants Me Back

I said. --- The blast door opened. The Nursery was behind it. I had imagined cages. Chains. Darkness. Instead, I saw a playground. Bright colors. Soft mats. Toys scattered across the floor. Children sat in small chairs, coloring. Others played with blocks. A woman in a white coat read a story to a group of toddlers. It looked like a daycare. But the children's eyes were wrong. Empty. Hollow. Like dolls. "Welcome to the Nursery," Wren whispered. "This is where they break them."

Solid Heart (Unseen Enemy 7)

Solid Heart (Unseen Enemy 7)

“I’m – I’m working on things. I’m feeling clearer, more centered.” The other women nodded quietly. “You hungry?” Emma said, changing the subject. “You can come and sit, meet some of the women and the younger kids, chat over lunch.” “There are lots of kids here?” Alexandra said, and nobody could miss the longing in her voice. “I love kids.” “Well, some of them are at school, of course,” Emma said. “But we have eight in the daycare program in-house while their Moms take lessons, job hunt, and have therapy sessions.”
