Freya cautioned. "Just some light sketching," I reassured. Freya handed me the sketchbook and pencils. "Would you like me to read to you while you draw?" she offered. "That would be lovely," I said. As Freya began reading, her soothing voice calmed my mind, and my pencil began to dance across the paper, creating gentle lines and curves. I began sketching Freya, capturing her gentle features and kind smile. As I finished, I turned the sketchbook to show her.

I have been having another nightmare, the same kind that haunted my childhood. I get out of bed and take some aspirin to relieve my head of the pressure. Suddenly I feel the need to drain my mind of the noise that has become my curse. My sketchbook occupies its usual position besides my bed. Blurry and disoriented, she felt a pair of icy hands stroking her skin. "Who's there?" Lauren's eyes snapped open, bulging wide like a startled deer. The images I saw have nothing to do with what happened back then.” He took out another drawing and handed it to him. “Here, check this out!” Landry took the drawing from him and stared with fixed eyes. He recoiled at the drawing of a man screaming in agonizing pain. His face contorted at the sight. “Who’s this?” “Not sure I’ve seen him before.”

I closed my eyes and the first face I saw in the back of my mind was one and only, Freddy. I saw him walking closer to me while slowly stripping his clothes off. The only recognizable features were human heads, encircled by dark streaks that vaguely resembled beards. "You're the worst! I hate you! I'll never draw you again. Cherry doesn't need a daddy like you!" As she complained, she forcefully tore at the pages, ripping them into pieces. In a matter of minutes, the abstract masterpieces had turned into shreds of paper.
