No discrimination between wolves, vampires or humans. Though I had such a beautiful experience when I settled for the night I had a terrible nightmare. I was drenched in blood standing in the midst of bodies faces I could recognize, Sia, Giveon, Max, Brad and Nathan. The dream shattered with a violent jolt. I shot upright in bed, sweat clinging to my skin, my heart slamming against my ribs. My breathing was ragged, but the images refused to fade. The metallic scent of blood still lingered in my nostrils, the cries still rang in my ears.

He spots Jimmie and pauses. “Good to see you back on your feet, pup,” he says with a small, rare smile. “Thank you, Franco,” Jimmie replies softly. But Franco’s smile fades quickly. He turns to me, jaw clenched. “There’s been another attack. Midnight Reaper. This time it’s worse.” I stiffen. “Midnight Reaper?” Jimmie echoes. “What is that?” Franco answers, “A rogue. A sick psycho werewolf. Killing humans.” “Nadia?” Jimmie asks again.

Meanwhile, Walter stared at Peter, the unexpected intruder, for some time before remarking, "You look a little familiar… I remember now. You're Jeremy's bodyguard." Then, without warning, Walter grabbed the bat from the nearest bodyguard and smashed it against Peter's head. "You're just a goon we hired! How dare you touch my woman?" Blood immediately spurted from Peter's head, and he collapsed to the floor. My heart dropped when I saw Peter, who had been my bodyguard for a while now, lie unconscious on the floor.
