“Gideon, can you take her to the ancient castle?” The man asked, looking me and Diana over. He grunted, and got up from his chair. “I only go there when the king asks me to. He hasn’t done so for over 30 years.” He said, looking directly at me. “Who is she?” He asked, looking at Diana. “This is my niece, Gwen.” She told him, stepping in front of me. “I can’t help you if you’re going to lie to me.” He said, giving her a side eye. “Leave us.” He told the man.
