Inanna was now running circles in my head, excited to get out and run with Conri.
He let out a short chuckle and patted my leg to get up. “I think that’s a great idea and Conri agrees.”
We walked to the bottom of the garden, down the gravel path to where the tree line of the forest began. We undressed, stuffing our clothes next to a tree, and shifted, not even trying to hide our nudity. I felt Conri nuzzle my side and turned to his enormous silver wolf, not grey but beautiful silver that shimmered in the light of the moon. Conri’s blue eyes glowed brightly, reflecting my wolf's emerald green eyes, which almost looked cosmic as they too shone brightly.
