I’d stared too, once or twice, when I thought no one was looking. But he didn’t come closer. He just stood there, and after a long, uncomfortable moment, he turned and walked away. Of course he did. I was alone. The pack celebration that night felt like a slap in the face. They called it the Harvest Moon Feast—some excuse to drink too much and pretend we were all one big happy family. My mother had been dead for less than a day, and they were laughing and dancing like nothing had happened.

~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. KIRA’S POV I didn’t realize I had leaned forward again until my back started to ache slightly against the couch. The laptop rested on my thighs, its glow the only real light in the room now. Everything else felt dimmer somehow, quieter, but that didn't stop me from reading. “At the time the curse was unleashed, the Alpha of the pack had a mate who was heavy with child. I’ll take that as opposed to nothing at all. “What’s his opinion on Valerie, Miss Stone Queen?” Nate inquires as we file out of the back door of the academy. The night sky is illuminated by the full moon, casting a silvery glow over the castle’s expansive grounds. The Moon Festival is in full swing, a sea of students and their families spread out across the lush lawn that stretches to the edge of the massive woods. The trees, dark and towering, create a mysterious backdrop, their shadows dancing in the moonlight. Lanterns hang from branches and poles, their soft light adding a warm, festive touch to the cool night air.

The worn pages calmed me, the faded ink carrying me into another world. It was a book about wolves’ history. Stories of ancient packs, battles fought under blood moons, legends of the Moon Goddess blessing chosen ones. I loved reading it, even if nobody knew I could read. They never let me go to school, but I had taught myself in secret. The book was my hidden treasure. Through it, I learned things nobody thought I should know. That the Wolf’s Crest had once chosen the strongest Lunas. That the Moon Feast was more than just food and dancing it was power, hidden under rituals. And sometimes, I wondered… if the Moon still watched us, still cared.

Theresa looked closely at him and noticed that he was eating a mushroom. She squatted and examined him with interest as she looked at his transparent head which seemed to contain an image of the galaxy with millions of stars and nine balls which might be the nine planets rotating around a bigger orb which she guessed was the sun and was the major source of the light shining in its head. It was like the creature had the entire universe in its transparent large head.

Verena opened up the book to show how blank it was, saying, "This would only work under the moonlight." Galen nodded, "She is right," he said. "You would be able to read it under the full moon's light." "Rena, you should-" Galen was stunned. He stopped midsentence since he realized that Verena was spacing out. She held the book Lunaria and flipped through its pages as tears started forming in her eyes. "What's wrong, Rena?" he asked. "Why are you crying?" Zoren rushed to make her face him. "What's wrong?" he rushed to ask. "Are you feeling alright? Are you hurt? What's going on? Tell me!"

“I know it’s reckless and things are complicated. I know that it’s sensible to wait, to pick our moment. But… You are my mate. And…” “Tomorrow, after the run, after the fight,” Reid’s voice was hoarse and breathless. “It will be the full moon. It’s the right time for it…” He twisted and took Jasper’s face in his hands. “And I don’t think that I can wait another month to make you mine. I know we should…” He grinned, his eyes dancing with the sheen of his wolf. “But I’m not good at doing what I should.”
