Daniel gestured to the chair in front of his desk without a word. Niya sat, quietly counting how many times he could fit the word ‘fuck’ into a conversation. “You’re fucking quieter than I expected,” he observed. “I figured it was safer to listen first.” He paused, then inclined his head. “So she can talk. Good, this means I won’t have to use charades.” A silence stretched between them. Finally, he tossed the tablet onto the desk. “I know you’re not supposed to be here. You’re a sub, according to what Rina had told me. You probably shouldn’t even have my attention, but somehow, you do.”

Their eyes glowed red, not wavering as they sized up the humans behind the metal table. When the hounds finally lunged at them over the table, Nadia’s scream burst forward and echoed in the tile and metal filled room at a deafening volume. Jake threw the salt in a wide arc, coating them and the metal table they stood on with a shower of it, but it didn’t stop them completely.

He was known as Ninja because, prior to joining THEM, he used the disguise of a ninja and used various samurai weapons to murder his victims. If Nick Jin really has gotten free and is on the loose, that is bad news for THEM.

Jonathan said, forming an explosion with his arms. “There's enough to send them all to hell!” He laughed. Nadine swallowed loudly, and hoped that Nick wouldn't find her. She wished she'd had more time with him. Jonathan began to hum an old hymn as he left the room and entered with a rickety wooden table. On the table lay a toolset which contained a pair of scissors, scalpels and some other instruments which she was not familiar with. “Now, let's have fun.” He smirked.

As soon as Nara lifted the bag about to hit, suddenly- Thump! The other two pairs of visitors turned their heads. Nara struggled to hold back her laughter as Gnat collapsed to the side as the table he had been supporting rolled over.

He too loses to Dante, leaving him, the other tech bro, and Hunter. As they play, I learn that the other tech bro, the one left at the table, is called Nate, the other is Justin and the NFL player is Connor. His name does not ring a bell, but then again, I don’t watch sports of any kind. “Dante is killing us, Nate,” Hunter said. “Not at all,” Dante mumbles, “you’re still at the table.” “Yeah, but you have a pile bigger than all of us.
