He tears down everything in his way while April retreats, instructing the others not to shift to avoid endangering the patients. She has to be kidding me. I recognize him as a pack member who has been particularly close to Hailey and Ana at her time of disappearance. He had in fact been one of the ones telling her playfully how she would become Luna. Running into the room, I get him just in time as he is just a few inches away from getting to her. I grab him by his neck, slamming him into the wall.

I remember this round very well. Lots of eye candy to be had. I know the other ladies will appreciate the view too.

April was lying in bed, her blue eyes fixed on me with a mixture of fear and longing. "Ryder," she whispered, her voice barely audible. I smiled, trying to reassure her, and crossed the room to her bedside. I leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead, then her lips. "Hey, April. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere.” April's POV As the full moon drew near, my condition worsened. The strange symptoms intensified, leaving me weak and vulnerable.
