“Aunt Caterina!” Caterina’s face lit up with a joy so pure it almost masked the exhaustion written into her body, her arms opening eagerly as she gathered both Nico and Nina into a careful but heartfelt embrace. She held onto them a moment longer than necessary, as if drawing strength from their warmth, from their innocence, from something untouched by illness. “Thank you for the action figures for Christmas!” Nico said, his voice bright with excitement, his earlier hesitation completely forgotten. “And the dolls!” Nina added quickly, her small hands still clutching onto Caterina as though she did not want to let go just yet.

*Nelly POV* I felt a tap on my shoulder, which made my weak eyelids flapped open. "Argh!" I jerked to the side when I saw the maniacal mask of a man with a Christmas hat worn securely on his head. He placed a finger on his lips, indicating to me to keep shut. I warily glanced across the other side of the bed where Tessa was supposed to be sleeping but she wasn't there. The strange ninja beckoned to me to follow him. I quickly got out of bed and followed him outside. On getting there, my other female teammate was outside already, right on the spot of her room's door.

Mitch kissed Ronnie and then said, "Merry Christmas, everyone! **** On Christmas day, Wyatt rushed to his parents' room, yelling, "He came, he really came." "Who? What are you talking about?" Ronnie asked, groggy with sleep. "Santa Claus, he stuffed my stocking and there's presents under the tree. Lot's of presents." Wyatt could barely contain himself. He was so excited. "I have something for you, Mom and you too, Dad." "What is it?" Mom asked. "Marie helped me make them, here, open it up." Wyatt handed them a small package. "Rip it, Mom."

CHAPTER 175 Noel hugged herself in the cold. It was the week before Christmas. Christmas ornaments dominated by red and green colors filled public spaces. Pine trees with colorful decorations and starlights are a sight that New Yorkers will often see. On the way to Jason's house, the body of the mysterious man is found in the river, Nicholas and Noel are lost in their own thoughts. Along the way, many people began to arrive at the accessory shops. They seemed to be busy looking for tools and gifts for Christmas, making Noel's heart who really wanted to experience Christmas a little sad.

Kai's voice rumbles low against her ear, darkly amused and dangerously enticing. "Yes." She shivers as his tongue traces the edge of her ear. "I didn't listen because I crave that danger." Luckily, the green-back turtle noticed their discomfort. "Ahem, may I know what you like to find?" It asked in polite tone. Jennet tore her gaze away from the tiny creatures and eyed the turtle. Then, she smiled. "I'm looking for some gifts that wouldn't draw strange attention from people around us including humans." The green-back turtle smothered its non-existent beard. It puffed off more bubbles and said, "Very well. Since you know what you're speaking of, I will show you what you want."

Christmas Eve Eight Months Later “Die Hard is not a Christmas movie!” I shout at the boys but Wilder and Wyatt both laugh. “I think it should count.” Ricky says, teaming up with the guys against me. “Ricky.. It's not too late for me to call Santa and tell him that you've been a horrible kid, not to bring you any gifts.” I tell him with a wink and he laughs, throwing up his hands. The twins laugh at him, teasing him about getting coal.

All I want to do is sleep. But there is no time for it because Christmas is near and is a favorite holiday of the pack. Everyone comes together to prepare for Christmas. We have a big Christmas tree in the park that we usually decorate. All the pups help decorate it. On the 24th we have a big party in the main Pack House for those that were unmated.
