Hero, perked up immediately. I leaned in close to my camera, face streaked with tears. "Mr. Hero, I need your help. My mother-in-law is having a heart attack. Only Dr. Ben Dover can save her, but he's ignoring my calls—he's at the mall! If anyone sees him, please tell him to get to the hospital ASAP. She only has forty minutes left!" I ended with a sob for good measure and sent Ben's photo to him. But Mr. Hero hesitated. "Um... I get this is serious, but, like, doctors have their own lives too, you know? We can't just go hunting for him based on what you're saying. Plus, this could totally count as, like, invading his privacy..."

It just took this long for them both to find it. This was why they needed to do this their way and not follow any normal rules. They had to make this work for the both of them. As the things around them were all moving at lightspeed, the two of them had to know that their base would be perfect to build exactly what they needed for the life they were going to build together. He smiled as he thought about the future and all he saw. That was going to be the dream he wanted to have.

Clara flung her fridge open, and it was empty except for a jar of jam, a can of beer, and old bread. She decided to go grocery shopping as she was running low on provisions. She needed to at least stock up. Maybe going grocery shopping would lift her mood. Outside, the atmosphere was sunny and bright. It was ironic as that was the exact opposite of how she felt.
