By the time the final body hit the ground, the courtyard was a sea of red. I stood at the center of it, breathing hard, my claws still dripping. Her father had fallen back, horror etched across his features. His council sat paralyzed, soaked in the blood of their own men. And there, calm as a midnight breeze, Draven leaned against a pillar, sipping his smoothie like we were at a tavern. He glanced at their confused faces. “He’s a Lycan, remember?” he said casually. “You don’t summon war and expect a welcome.”

' Draven growled at Atticus in his head. "Please! I really wanna ride the sky pony, just one time!" Noah begged as Atticus opened his mouth to say okay, but his mouth quickly closed and the scent of ash filled the dining room as the Alpha’s eyes burned with flames when Draven quickly pushed forward. "Listen here, marshmallow top! I'm not a fucking pony! I am a dragon!!! Not a puny pony!" Draven growled, and Noah huffed as he crossed his arms over his chest.
