It felt more powerful, and the sensation scared me. I got up and walked the quiet dark halls to my office. “Hati,” I said the name to myself as I sat down and opened the laptop. The different pages available all basically said the same thing. Sköll and Hati were the wolf children of Fenrir, chasing the sun and moon, which they would devour during Ragnarök, the end of days, the end of the world. Why was Hati coming for my son? Didn’t Ragnarök already happen? If I had more information at my disposal, I might have asked the goddess different questions. She summoned me, I had no idea how to go back to where I was and something told me not to try.

Elena introduced the topic with confidence, her voice steady as she explained the common themes in shifter mythology across different cultures. “In Norse mythology,” she said, gesturing to an image on the screen behind her, “we see the concept of the berserker - warriors who would take on the spirit of the wolf or bear, channeling their ferocity in battle. The term itself comes from Old Norse, meaning ‘bear-shirt,’ referring to their animalistic transformation.” She moved through her slides, discussing Native American legends of skinwalkers, Celtic tales of selkies, and the enduring symbolism of wolves in folklore. The students were engaged, asking thoughtful questions and jotting down notes

he expatiated. "Oh I see, but what is the correlation between Norse warriors and Berserker?" "They worshipped many gods, but we're more devoted to Odin, the father of the northern gods who they believed gave them the fury of the bear to make them fearless in their battles. They had a shamanic practice where they perfumed a ritual to Odin and besought him for the spirit of the bear. Those rituals involved a process where they spent a period in the wilderness living like their totem animal and after their return, they were buried in the sand up to their neck for days and dug out, as a form of death and rebirth."

' He moved closer to her and she stepped back shaking her head, 'No, no, wait, this is just another crazy dream, how can you be real, Neptune is a Greek God, he's not real, this is impossible. Midas swam closer circling her a few times then he stopped right in front of her, 'That's what you thought about Werewolves and other Shifters, and Vampyres, Dragons and Faeries, all of them real, all of them exist in the Immortal Realm and you believe in them all so why should we not exist too?' He move

“Benji, tell us what you have figured out so far!” “I thought you would never ask. Here is the facts first. Nancy and I discovered… Drum roll please!... Ciara is a descendent from Nordic Ancient Gods!!” Benji squealed with delight which sounded like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. “Her pack is around this area of the North and guess what! They are still ALIVE and Kicking!” she pointed towards the map on the TV screen. “But wait there is more! According to the journal, her mother is a distant descendant of one of Odin’s wolves, Geri or Freki, not sure which, but that doesn’t really matter right now. What matters is this connection to Odin’s wolves. According to legend, Geri and Freki would

That is the only clue that they have to solve the cryptex. “Hildisvini?” Hestia mumbled. “Hildisvini is the pet boar of Frey in the Norse Mythology.” Albert simply explained. Hestia tried the words ‘Frey’, but the cryptex was a five letter word puzzle so it was not the answer. She also tried ‘norse’ but it was also wrong as the cryptex did not open. She remembered that the real spelling of the name ‘Frey’ was ‘Freyr’ in the Norse Mythology and she tried that as well but it also did not work. She thought of something else that could be connected to the names ‘Hildisvini’, ‘Frey’, ‘Freyr’, and ‘norse’. She thought of something else that is connected to those.

“In Norse mythology, Hati is the name of the wolf that chases the moon. He’s also commonly known as the devourer of the moon or the wolf of the night. The raven of thought is one of the two ravens that brought back knowledge about the world to Odin, the Almighty God in Norse mythology. The raven’s name is Hugin. And his name literally meant ‘thought’ which is where he gets the name of ‘the raven of thought’.” All three were silent for a long time after this. Finally Ren spoke up. “I don’t like the feeling of this,” he said uncomfortably. “It seems to me like there’s some organisation out there that had Hati on their blacklist. And without a doubt, someone has been interfering with us.”

, Ragnar felt a secret stirring in his heart. He thought it must have been like this when the gods looked down on the world. Only then did Haakon and his brothers realize that they were powerful wizards and possessed magical secrets powerful enough to rule the world if they wanted. Only then did it dawn on them that perhaps they already did, and that the world was arranged as they wanted, for a purpose beyond their imagination. All the clans of Fenris were probably domesticated by cruel gods. The thought never left Ragnar's mind until a subtle instinct told him it was true. Didn't he ride in the car of the chosen dead? Are they not messengers of the gods? It could mean that he lived next to
