I pause for a moment to think before telling him, “Did he not mention any other nearby apartments that are close to her?” Jake nodded as though a lightbulb just lit up in his head. “Yes, he did. He said there’s another building right next to it that’s still available. It’s from the same developer, and the apartments there are just as good.” I nod, considering the new option. “Well, that’s fortunate. Tell him we’ll pay for that right away.” He nods and proceeds to text the man. I return my attention to the game to see that I lost, and I drop the pad, suddenly feeling out of sorts.

The two young women got out of the car and entered the restaurant, and after dinner, they had a few snacks before Noemia took Victoria to her new apartment. Victoria had no objections, of course, Noemia's apartment was located in the fanciest part of town, and the land on which the building was built was worth a fortune, and the cheapest apartment cost at least ten million. They took the elevator to the top floor, and there were only two units on this floor, and one of them belonged to Noemia, and Victoria couldn't help but wonder, who was her neighbor?

“The first building has nearly two hundred units. Each apartment rents for approximately five thousand dollars a month.” I did the math quickly in my head. “That’s solid income,” I said. “Yes,” Mei continued. “The second property is much larger. Roughly five thousand apartments, each renting for around three thousand dollars a month.” Jacob turned toward me sharply when he heard that. “That’s… massive,” he whispered. I held up a hand, signaling him to wait. Mei kept going. “We also acquired several additional assets to diversify the portfolio. A trailer park outside the city limits, a mobile home community, a campground near the interstate, and a regional shopping mall that had been struggli

Even though I was ready to finally get the bookstore back on track, finding a new apartment is my priority now. I check the boxes where I can get results for small apartments, close to the neighborhood I’m already in, and preferably one that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg each month. Nothing nice shows up. Not unless I want to live in an alley where I know for a fact I’ll be kidnapped or murdered.

“ It is ideal for you two lovebirds.” “We are not-“ “I can’t wait to see it.” Justin cut me off again. “We are not a couple. This apartment is for you not us.” I whispered to him. “Really?” He grinned slyly. I poked him in the ribs. The apartment was located in a nice, cozy, safe looking neighborhood. And Hannah was right it was perfect. It was new, large ,with two bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen and dining room. I checked out the plumbing, and wiring. They were in good condition.

Ash continues “Is the ranked member's floor. It is split into eight apartments. The four Beta apartments are slightly larger than the four gamma apartments, but they are basically the same. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and office, decent kitchen, and a balcony. The fourth floor is ours. We do have a kitchen, four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half baths, our own library, home gym, two offices, and... and empty room. We entered a street and then stopped at one of the first and finest apartments. A doorman in a nice uniform came and collected my bag. The sign on the gate read, :The Apex Residences. “This is it,” the driver said, putting the car in park.

The entrance door opened, and Phoenix walked into the apartment she shared with her best friend, Isis. Everywhere was dark, and the lights were switched off. She sighed as she reached for the light switch directly near the curtains, and switched it on. As she turned to walk in, she saw Isis, her housemate and best friend laying on the chair with her phone in her hands staring at Phoenix. "Oh my fucking God!" Phoenix jolted backwards as she saw Isis lying on the bed with her phone in her hands while staring at Phoenix with no expression on her face. "What the fuck is your problem? Why would you startle me like that?!"

As long as I had enough, that was all that mattered. Over the next few days, Julie and I visited several new developments and looked at a few high-end apartments, about 1,290 square feet each. The apartments were fully renovated, with floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a residents' clubhouse. Julie stood on the balcony of one of the model units, staring outside.
