But in this place, I don't think I'll make it. - See the apartment first. After, we'll talk about numbers. You may be surprised. Saphira was doubtful but followed Sousa to the elevator. When he opens the apartment door, Saphira is delighted. This was more than she could dream of. Her old Texas apartment, which she had rented after having to sell her parents' house, could fit in there twice. - This is the room. Unfortunately, it does not have an entrance hall, but the view from the balcony compensates for this absence. The porch is…

The new apartment is absolutely stunning. It's on the penthouse floor, so I don't even wanna know how much it costs. It has exposed brick walls and high, exposed beam ceilings, and way too freaking big for two people to live in. It has a stunning view of the park and the lights of the city twinkle brightly through the large windows. "Wow." Phoebe's mouth hangs open. Fucking wow indeed. This is the type of place you strive to live in one day, when you're really successful in your career and you finally feel like you've made it.

There’s everything here—luxury apartments high above the city for the elite, mid-rise housing blocks offering something affordable for the rest. I spot storefronts waiting to be leased, a mall with its glass front glinting like a jewel, shopping centers already filling with curious eyes peeking through the windows. Restaurants with terraces, gyms, a swimming pool glistening like liquid silver, and a park where kids will run wild. It’s not just concrete and glass—it’s life, a place people will want to stay, not just survive. And for a moment, just a flicker, I let myself admire it. My vision.

My teammates hit me with a string of question marks when my hero stood idle and failed to hold the base. Frustrated, I quit the game and opened WhatsApp. The message was from Jacob Zeller, who lived downstairs from me. He was my roommate in college. There were four of us sharing a dorm, and we were pretty tight. While we were interning, we decided to job hunt together and moved into a cheaper apartment to lower our rent. Once everyone had a job, our hours were all over the place, so we each got an apartment to keep from getting in each other's way. We still grab a meal together from time to time.

what if this is not a new beginning but a disaster? Sighing I get down from the car and unloaded my bags. I am standing in front of my apartment. I have seen the ad online that it's a three-bedroom apartment with one common bathroom a living room and an open kitchen and a back patio with an underground parking lot. there is only one vacant needed and I immediately jumped into action without any delay paying the advance and confirming my room. The other two girls also go to the same university as me. I don't know anything about them, I just know that they go to the same university.

"These are the three neighborhoods I think make the most sense. Pacific Heights has good schools and it's close to Apex's office. Nob Hill is more central but has smaller apartments. Russian Hill is a compromise." She scrolled through the apartment listings I'd bookmarked. "These are beautiful." "We can fly out next weekend to look at places. Get you set up before your June start." I showed her my calendar. "I blocked the whole weekend. We'll tour apartments, check out the neighborhoods, maybe look at the office spaces I'm considering." "Zayn, this is incredible." She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe you did all this in one day."

"Fine, but call me if you need anything. Move on a weekend, and I’ll come help." "Don't worry. I won’t hesitate to ask when I need you." After lunch, they parted ways at the restaurant entrance. Nyla contacted several agents and looked at a few places, preferring a one-bedroom apartment that was over 60 square meters. She liked the decor and location, but the rent was steep. Considering her dwindling bank balance, she decided on a cheaper apartment farther from downtown. Despite that, she chose to wait for the interview results from Park Pharmaceuticals before signing the lease.

“I thought so. Now buckle up and let’s get out of here. I can’t wait to show you my place.” -- “That may be the biggest bed I have ever seen.” Nina laughed. “It just looks big because the room is small. Yours is probably the same size, it’s just in the middle of that enormous suite.” Her new apartment was in a nice building, nothing too fancy but newly renovated and very clean. Her one-bedroom unit was on the ninth floor, accessible by an elevator from the lobby, and she had a teeny tiny balcony with a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline. “Speaking of the palace. You have to come by sometime and see my new home office set-up I was telling you about. It’s super cute.”

Or dead. In grim silence, the trio made their way to the southwestern edge of town, to an upscale apartment building. It looked new, gleaming. They drove past a sleek new swimming pool that looked more like a tropical oasis than a man-made water hole. Multiple spas, jogging trail, Wi-Fi included. Definitely more upscale than Tyler could afford on a bouncer’s salary. Luc’s heart sank, and given Jack’s and Hunter’s grim faces, they had done the math as well. But they continued on until they reached apartment 314 and knocked.

Her daughter isn't meant for the kitchen. She was meant for the palace and classy event in which men like Liam attended. Oh, Liam. The thought of Liam brimmed tears down her cheeks as she boarded a taxi and set off to her new apartment. Phoenix had been looking for six months.
