A Never Meant Mate

A Never Meant Mate

She was sure that time she would get it out. Lydia was glad to have a new friend around, especially that her animals were friendly around the cabin. Which meant that it was a small and gentle animal, since they did not sense any danger from it. After locking herself into the villa, Lydia could not meet any human beings but her family, her father’s colleagues, the delivery men, and some friends of her stepsister. She realized that humans did not amuse her after her mother had left the world, so she stayed in. Lydia stepped towards the cabin again, however her body went frozen as her eyes bulged out wildly when she witnessed that scene.

A World I Never Knew Existed

A World I Never Knew Existed

Eve’s pov Another week rolled by and things fell into place for me, school, work, homework and hanging out with my friends at lunch everyday. But he never came back after that night. I think I made him run away from my sad life story. But I still wait for him though. I don't know why I feel like he will come back. Just don’t know when.

You Were Never There

You Were Never There

I decided to visit my mother's homeland, the Lowland Pack—a place she always described as a land of eternal spring. Cecilia had never liked the harsh winters at the Snowdrifter Pack's homeland. She would be happy to have a resting place in a land filled with warmth and flowers. … The next day, I decided to go to the Snowdrifter royal palace to reclaim my assets. Strangely, the once-bustling palace was eerily empty. Filled with doubt, I headed toward the treasury hall. "Liam, do you really plan to return all the assets to Sofia?" Mia asked, slightly out of breath.

The one who never got away /Through his eyes/

The one who never got away /Through his eyes/

I nod and try to listen to what she is saying, but my growing excitement blocks my mind. I force myself to join back the conversation and we fall into comfortable talk about everything. We talk about hobbies and free time, about childhood's dreams and work. And to my surprise, I discovered that Abigail loves to read erotic romances. Never in a million guesses would I expect her to like such books. She argues with me about how they're not cringe and I fight back the urge to laugh in her face. "How are these books not cringe? A fucked up millionaire falls for his assistant. He was a major ass before her, but she somehow manages to change him. They have kids and live happily ever after."

Waiting for Something That Never Came

Waiting for Something That Never Came

Ivory raised an eyebrow and mocked, "You should've locked your door if you wanted to do something so shameful. Besides, this is my home. Why should I knock?" Wilson didn't answer. He gracefully tucked himself back into his pants, his eyes still devoid of emotion. "Did you need something from me, Ms. Ivory?" Ivory smiled bitterly. She knew nothing would come out of this, but she still said stubbornly, "Take me away from here, Wilson. Let's leave together and go far, far away. Let's go somewhere where no one will find us." The lights were off in the room, so Wilson didn't see the broken look of despair in her eyes. Or perhaps he did see it but just didn't care.

Better Late Than Never Loved

Better Late Than Never Loved

Timothy Gibson froze for two seconds. There was a flicker of surprise in his eyes. His gaze dropped to my flat stomach before he snorted. "Naomi, you'll really make up anything just to turn me down? "Who would want you apart from me? Even your biological parents abandoned you." Abandoned… That was such a familiar term. He hadn't changed at all. He just couldn't stop stomping on my pride. Memories from ten years ago suddenly came rushing back.

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

His cane tapped softly against the marble. He stopped only a few feet away, his eyes searched my face, then my hands, then my feet, "What is this called?" My lips felt dry, "The Four Lives I Never Chose." He waited. I looked across the gardens, "The first girl grows up afraid of her own home. The second mistakes a cage for love," I swallowed, "The third finally finds someone worth loving... and never gets to keep him. And the last girl loses the only person who ever made her feel safe."

I absolutely adored this book and loved it so much. Raphael and Gianna's story was so good with the twists, the turns, the suspense, the sweet moments, the hard moments, basically all the moments. If you love mafia stories then I highly recommend this book and Jane's other books. You wont regret it.

I watched about a thousand ads to read this book and it was totally worth it! An epic love story, .................. sex scenes and lots of humor. My favorite parts were actually the family dynamics at meals and Rafael's interactions with his therapist. I did get a little impatient with Gianna's messes

The Wait Never Ends

The Wait Never Ends

For four years of marriage, Cillian Newberry's catchphrase had always been "wait." Traveling could wait until he wrapped up his work. Celebrating our wedding anniversary could wait until his meeting was over. Visiting my parents back in my hometown could wait until he had the time. Today was my birthday. I made sure to ask him two weeks in advance if he would be home for dinner. After he promised me he would be there, I spent the entire afternoon preparing his favorite dishes and waited for him to come home. However, I waited from six o'clock until nine, but he never showed. Then, an entertainment news broadcast caught my attention. [The CEO of Newberry Corporation was spotted pickin

Never In Another Life

Never In Another Life

Three years after faking my death, Adrian Shaw and our son found me. I fought to get away from them. I cried. I struggled. I told them I'd rather die than go back. Then my seven-year-old son put his hand on my mother's ventilator. Adrian stood beside him, and his voice shook when he said it. "Mia, you pick. "Either your mother suffocates in that bed, or you're Mrs. Shaw again." I was shaking so hard I could barely stand up. But I didn't have a choice. I signed the papers and married him a second time. When I walked back into that house, I became the perfect wife and the perfect mother. Whenever my adopted sister Nina was upset and needed Adrian with her, I never called him — not
