I checked the book title and synopsis. The synopsis promised a thrilling tale of suspense set in a small coastal town where secrets lurked beneath the surface. Intrigued, I settled back into the pillows, propping myself up against the headboard. As I delved into the first chapter, the words whisked me away to a world far different from my own. The characters came alive in my imagination, their struggles and desires captivating my attention. Page after page, I became engrossed in the story, forgetting about the troubles that had plagued my sleepless nights. The author's vivid descriptions painted scenes in my mind, transporting me to the coastal town where the mystery unfolded.

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Alternatively, the other idea I had was to just have a longer book, but I don't want the length to scare off new readers. Thanks in advance! :)

If I remembered correctly, Linda was the culprit. She had been secretly in love with Calvin for years, but Calvin only had eyes for Nancy. In the original novel, she managed to drug him, but afterward he turned the tables and dosed her ten times worse, leaving her stranded with no help. She ended up with a terrible fate.

There was magic, action, drama, shitty ex-fiancees, and love triangles. It was a famous web novel. The story always ended on the cliffhanger. There were a lot of snu-snu moments. The male lead was so frustrating at times that I wished to go into the book and choke him. The female lead, who was so dense despite being from a modern world, made my blood boil at all times. Why couldn't she see the second male lead who was in puppy love with her? She should be with anyone else but that cold-hearted asshole male lead who kept forcing himself on her.

The same apartment where she wrote her story which was claimed to be plagiarized. She caught the sight of her laptop and walked closer. She turned it on and the cover picture of one of the female lead werewolf story she was writing, popped up. Another hit that is one of her popular books. The perfect, drawn picture of her female lead. She smiled bitterly as she stared at it. Her female lead have everything in this world. Her life is so perfect with her prince charming and all. How pathetic. There is no happy life." she said and typed on the chapter she was working on.
