Enemies in Disguise

Enemies in Disguise

“Fine, fine. Make sure I’ll be the best man, okay?” God, if Julian ever figured out the truth, he’d see that the “joke” of a wedding was nothing but a sick fantasy. There was no happily ever after waiting for us. We were enemies in disguise waiting for the perfect moment to strike first. A mafia and an assassin, each with orders to end the other. If Julian ever learned that, he wouldn’t laugh. He’d run. Because in the end, this game only allows one of us to walk away alive. And yet, in the middle of this game, a new player appeared. The baby.

CAGED IN HIS OBSESSION

CAGED IN HIS OBSESSION

Liam asked, his eyes still locked on me, not even glancing at the other guy. Neon. That was the stranger’s name. “I came to talk about the game,” Neon replied, turning back to Liam. “But what I didn’t expect to find… was a new game.” He looked at me then, smiling in a way that made my skin crawl. A game? Why was he looking at me like that? What did he mean by new game? Something felt seriously off. Liam let out a low chuckle. “Well, I’m making arrangements to finish the game,” he said, eyes still sharp as blades.

BLOOD TIE AND BROKEN VOWS

BLOOD TIE AND BROKEN VOWS

The air was electric, charged, ready to shatter. Adriana’s voice, when it came, was low and cold as steel. “So this is the game we’re playing.” Isabella smiled sweetly, withdrawing her hand. “Careful, darling. Games are dangerous when you don’t know the rules.” Adriana’s eyes locked on Damian’s. “Then it’s time someone rewrote them.” The storm inside him broke loose—but before he could speak, a gunshot cracked in the distance. Shouts erupted from the hall. The game had just turned deadly.

She Is A Game.

She Is A Game.

“Dad said I would like you, but I already couldn't stand you the moment we met. Isn't that ironic?” “Mutual feelings, then. I guess it's better if we stay out of each other's way.” That was the deal. Kiera Hartley is the newly adopted daughter of the wealthy Cole family—a girl who learned long ago to bury her emotions and has completely lost the ability to cry. Liam Cole is the family's biological son—cynical, arrogant, and harboring a deep-seated hatred for women. They were supposed to be strangers living under the same roof. But everything changes when Liam makes a cruel bet with his friends: make the unshakeable new girl cry. To win, Liam must break through Kiera's wa

The Games of the Heart

The Games of the Heart

I wonder what game he’s playing. “Yes.” “Hmm.” His gaze remains fixed on me, that infuriating smile still in place. The weight of his attention makes my knees weak, and I excuse myself before I can embarrass myself further. I rush to my room and slump against my door, heart pounding and mind racing with the same question from earlier: What the hell was that?

Awesome! This is the second book I’ve read from this author and it is outstanding! Love this family and their story. Wonderful storyline, written well, held my interest, strong characters, not drawn out and just an amazing love story. Adding you to my favorite list author. Will be reading more.

I loved this book. The grammar and English were great. I’ve partly read and quit several books on there that were literally unreadable. I got a little confused on Andrea’s family not knowing Stefano but it was explained later.

168 Hours in Hell

He took out a small wire from his pocket and started tying Miranda’s hand at the back while making her knelt on the ground. “We are going to play a game.” BOOM My face paled when he spoke those words, A Game… A game of death. “This game is called Open and Alive…” He said with a slight hint of excitement in his voice. “The one whose eyes stayed open all the time will stay alive and the one who blinks… would die…” He spoke and I saw Miranda’s eyes widening in acknowledgment. “But… How would that be interesting, huh?” He looked at Miranda to me, “Hmmm…” He tapped his chin as though he was lost in thinking.

THE LYING GAME

THE LYING GAME

She was a middle-aged woman who tended to my mansion and my father’s men, she supervised the maids and servants as they worked and was damn good at it too. “Where’s father?.” “In the study, Don Russo. He's been waiting.” “Thanks, Agatha.” I pushed open the door to my father’s study and met him engaged in a game of chess with a tall, lanky man who looked oddly familiar. “Checkmate. No one escapes me, boy.” Father said and the lanky man’s low laughter echoed in the room as he accepted his victory with a nod. Simultaneously, they looked up at me, my father’s energetic face brightening as he acknowledged me. “Here he comes.“

GAME OF ALPHAS

GAME OF ALPHAS

Time to checkmate once again. I ignored the small whispers of the courtroom as all eyes shifted between him and me as if waiting for the storm to break. “Not guilty?” I repeated my tone light, almost teasing. I placed my hands across my chest and tilted my head to the side. “How bold of you, Derick Cresentblood. Bold, but utterly foolish.” “You truly believe you can lie your way out of this? After everything? Then you must be so wrong, or so stupid.” “I know the game you’re playing, Luna, and I am ready to participate in the game. And you may know, I play to win.”
