The first page that he saw was a blank page which had a brown and old look on it, like it was published years ago 'Okay, so the book was unique after all. It gets me excited and eager to start reading it' After flipping the first page he went to flip the second page when he saw the title of the book and he knew from that moment that it was not a common story at all. He knew this after looking at the written title of the book on the second page below. There were words that shook him as shivers run down his spine making him have goosebumps nearly throwing the book away from him

It says The Alpha King in the picture because I'm currently trying to get the book title switched to that! For anyone confused about why there are two different names. Happy New Year!!

I can figure it out from the cover of the book which has a bride and a man in a frock. I open it and my gaze flashes on her name handwritten on the first page which contains the author's dedication. She writes; "Bella's Copy" My lips curve up in a smile. Who the hell would do a thing like this? It looks like a new book and I wonder why she wrote her name on it this way. The title of the book is captivating and I never knew Isabella read novels too. I am thinking of stealing it away when the door to the bathroom opens and she comes out without seeing me.

Someone had not wanted the title visible. Clara pulled it out. The cover was dark leather, undecorated, with no text on the outside. She opened it to the title page. On the Recording of Iterative Experience: A Practitioner's Account. No author listed. No date of publication. The paper was old but not fragile, the kind of old that suggested it had been made to last. She read the first page standing up, alert for other people in this section of the library.

I haven’t got a chance to read that yet, I wanted to wait until after Axel and I spoke and than with everything that happened after we spoke, it’s just sat there. I walk over to the table and take my seat, the title in a faded gold colour getting my attention. This is a book which so many people are fighting to find, they will quite literally, kill for it! I place my hand on the front cover and pull the book open, the intense smell of the past filling my senses. The title page looking back at me, this whole event feeling so surreal. While I might not know many words yet, I know enough that I can read the title of this book. “The Story of Carnelia the Great,” I mumble to myself. Opening the book to the first page I see the name “Primus” scrawled in an uneven hand on the cover. So this was his as a child. I smile, thinking of what a little monster he must have been like as I turn to the title page. “CARNELIA” is hand-lettered in bold calligraphy. Underneath, is the image of a gold and red dragon, her body curled in the sky, replacing the sun.
