Like the book knew me. I pushed that thought aside and turned the first few pages. Most of the entries were familiar types of magic—herbal mixtures, minor warding spells, protection charms, and potion recipes. The kind of practical witchcraft that most mages learned during their years at Rosewood. But I wasn’t looking for those. I flipped slowly through the pages, searching for anything that felt even remotely familiar. Anything that might explain the wings. Or the blood. It took several minutes before I found something.

The script was old-fashioned and flowery, and some of the words were spelled differently than she was used to. She began to read, her eyes scanning the page. The book was about herbs and their uses in magic, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as she read on. She had always been fascinated by plants and their healing properties, and the idea of using them in magic was something she had never considered before. As she turned the pages, she saw illustrations of different herbs and flowers, each with their own magical properties. Some were said to cure ailments, while others could be used to protect against evil spirits or to attract love and wealth.

They didn't have a specific name for their school nor they consider it as like that. It was like a part of their lives as Keriekos. They start learning magics by the age of ten and since it took six years usually for an individual to know all there is that should be learned, they finish at the age of sixteen. At that point of their lives, they decide what to do next.
