"I want you gone," he launched his fist at me, aiming for my calves. I shut my eyes, waiting for his hit to pack a punch. "You should be in bed by now, if I'm correct," Alpha Ryu's voice resonated in the passage. "You don't order me around Alpha," the figure let out, smashing his fist onto Alpha Ryu. "Maybe it's time you become a lesson to others," Alpha Ryu exhaled, grabbing the figure by the neck before smashing him onto the ground. "You're strong, but you don't have what it takes to kill me." The figure blurted out, sending Alpha Ryu's feet back with his legs. In order to prove her existence and claim her rightful position as Alpha of the Moon Hounds, she must do the impossible: bring back the head of the Ruthless Alpha Ryu of the opposing pack. She doesn’t give up, infiltrating the pack when it’s at its lowest guard and acting as an ordinary maid. In her bid to destroy the pack and have the Alpha’s head, she’s met with the biggest challenge of all—love. Once you've had a taste of the darkness, it's hard to pull away... **** This book was written in the late 1990's - early 2000's, and originally published in 2004, under the title: Diary of a Vampire by S.M. Royston. It was my first book, and it wasn't long until I came to hate it! (Please, don't look it up - I promise you, it's terrible) So here we are, years later, and I've decided to throw out my original work, and re-write it. Because I'm the author, and I can do that. The story, characters, and settings are the same - but the writing style is different, and in my opinion, much, much better. I hope you enjoy it. ****

Lucky is strong willed, she is fierce and not a docile dove he can easily manipulate but Nico Santangelo is not scared of a challenge, he will have her eating out of his hand and tamed if it is the last thing he does. Besides, when he is the King of New York and her father dies eventually, he will no longer need this woman. He isn't prepared, however, that he could fall in love with her.

Some answers will be revealed to him by Petra but Deadrei will be the one to explain everything to him about his true identity. Dante wants to resurrect Esmeralda but he had no idea that Esmeralda is already alive again in Deadrei’s body. Dante will do anything to take Esmeralda away from Rio after learning that she had reunited with him again. He believes that Rio is not worthy of her and regretted not fighting for his love for her. After Rio learned about his past, he will try to challenge his older brother and reunite all their people in an attempt to create a better community for them and he knew that he will be needing all the help he can get to defeat a much stronger enemy than Dante, the Dark one.

But because the other lead surgeon violated protocol during the operation, it ended in a serious medical accident. My sister, the head of the department, pinned all the blame on me. Even my girlfriend stood firmly on their side, accusing me of incompetence. Overnight, I went from being a respected medical PhD to the disgrace of the hospital. I couldn't prove the mistake wasn't mine. I was fired and faced criminal charges. My parents, once so proud of me, pointed at me in rage. "We don't have a son who plays god with people's lives!" Crushed by shame and despair, I spiraled into deep depression and jumped from the hospital roof. But now, I open my eyes again. I'm back—back to the night before the surgery.
