I took my time, hoping that Jarren would come join me, but after twenty minutes had passed and he hadn’t, I decided to get out.
After getting dressed, I walked over and stared out the window for a moment. At this time last year, there was snow on the ground, but now there wasn’t even a sign of snow. Not that I was a fan of freezing weather, but it didn’t seem like Christmas was on the way. It was the second week of December, and it felt like the last week of spring.
