Blood Oath Of The Alpha

Blood Oath Of The Alpha

"Take him back. Lock him up. At dawn, we break him." "My Lord?" "You heard me. Tomorrow, we find out how loyal he really is. If he wants to bleed for them, then so be it." The guards hauled Kieran to his feet. He didn’t resist. As he was dragged out, he looked back over his shoulder. "Enjoy what little time you have left. The walls are already cracking." The door slammed shut behind him. --- Alone again, Derek turned to the hearth and threw the nearest book against the wall. It struck with a thud, pages scattering like ash. His chest rose and fell in shallow bursts, his thoughts spiraling.

The Neighborhood Keeper

The Neighborhood Keeper

A complete wreck by then, I asked, “Am I nothing but a lover to you?” I was hoping she’d say no. Hannah looked at me in shock. Moments later, she burst into chuckles. “Don’t tell me that you’ve fallen for me, Brook. “I was obviously coming onto you when we first met. Were you too dense to realize that? “Are you unaware of the nature of the job when you applied? You’re basically the communal lover of the residents here. “Didn’t you read the fine print? What did you expect out of an easy and high-paying security job?”

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

“We have to destroy them all. It’s the only way to ensure our family’s safety.” As they deliberated their next move, a low rumble echoed through the cavern. The family froze, their eyes darting toward the entrance. From the shadows emerged a figure cloaked in black, their face obscured by a hood. “Who are you?” Wickham demanded, stepping protectively in front of Clara and the children. The figure raised a hand, revealing a glowing amulet that pulsed in time with the orb’s light. “I am the Keeper,” they said, their voice calm but commanding. “You have done well to make it this far, but your journey is not yet complete.”

The Keepers of the Universe: A rip in the Veil

The Keepers of the Universe: A rip in the Veil

I always chalked it up to good genes and compensation from God for making me so clumsy. Wait until I told Adam abo- Someone had grabbed me. I struggled to break free. His hand was over my mouth and his strength was overwhelming. Thinking back, one of the few things I knew about proper self-defense was in my purse- my pepper spray. Another figure stepped in my periphery. A man with an unkempt beard and beady eyes. Awesome. A face for my future nightmares. If I lived beyond today to even have nightmares, that is. Beady eyes led my captor to a car and opened the boot.

Blood Oath Academy

Blood Oath Academy

Her knees nearly gave out, but she locked them hard. Not here, not in front of them. Edric began the vow. “I enter by blood.” Virelle forced air into her lungs. “I enter by blood.” The words were barely out before the basin pulsed beneath her hand. “I bind myself to the laws of Blood Oath Academy.” “I bind myself to the laws of Blood Oath Academy.” The silver glow deepened. “I will not betray the oath without consequence.” “I will not betray the oath without consequence.” The mark on her skin burned hotter, and a strange pressure built behind her ribs, like a second heartbeat waking up beneath her own. Edric’s gaze sharpened.

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A Different Kind of Alpha: Blood Oath

A small, teasing smile plays on his lips, but his eyes are suspiciously shiny and wet. "I had to," I whisper back. "You have my ring." He laughs softly as he reaches out and takes my hands. His palms are warm, rough, solid. The shaman, a woman named Oryn, the oldest living wolf in the pack, steps forward with a bowl of water and a branch of sage. She cleanses our hands before marking our foreheads with ash. "We gather to witness the binding of two souls," Oryn’s voice scratches through the silence like dry leaves. "Alpha Kieran and Alexei of Silvercrest. Speak your truth."

I feel like the story was drawn out and slow at some points, but overall it was good. I love Kieran and Alexei as a couple and how they interacted with the other characters. The only thing I would change is having them switch occasionally in the bedroom since Kieran is an alpha too.

Whispers of Loyalty

Whispers of Loyalty

“No matter what happens, you remember one thing—” Her fingers gripped my wrists, holding me there. “That you’re mine,” she whispered. A sharp breath left me. Christ. She didn’t even know how much I needed those words. “Yeah,” I said hoarsely. “Yours.” But inside, I felt it, the clock ticking down, the shadows pressing in. And I knew, whatever waited in the next days, we weren’t done bleeding yet. The night stretched long after that, hours bleeding into each other. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the words on that paper, burned into the back of my skull. Blood can’t buy loyalty. Blood only betrays.

The Mafia King Dies Every Time He Kisses Me

The Mafia King Dies Every Time He Kisses Me

“I am the King.” The Ferryman slowly shook his head. “No.” “You merely inherited a throne.” “A King…” “…is chosen.” ⸻ Before anyone could respond… He stood and walked toward one of the towering bookshelves. His fingers brushed across dozens of old journals until he finally removed a thick leather volume. Across its faded cover… Only one word had been embossed in gold. KEEPERS He placed it gently upon the table. “Every Keeper since the twelfth century.” Alessio carefully opened the book.

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

Not loud. Not threatening. Calm. Almost gentle. The Keeper has found the key. A strange pressure settled over the bridge. Naomi looked around uneasily. “Did either of you hear that?” Ama nodded. Orion nodded too. The silver-eyed Architect looked older than he had only moments ago. “The Keeper,” he whispered. The voice answered immediately. You remember. Orion closed his eyes. “I never forgot.” Ama turned toward him. “Who—or what—is the Keeper?” A long silence followed.

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

I do not feel that it is the truth, so I just nod my head as if I agree with her. "Enjoy this while it last Io. I wish you the best" she says turning to leave. I watch her go with trepidation. What if she is right about how things will go? Would I be able to handle it if Draco were to marry someone else? I sigh loudly and walk into my hut. I remember the bent parchment in my hand and decide to read it to get my mind off the subject. Io You are a soul so sweet That my own fails to retreat I am drawn like the sun to the sky
