I didn’t want to argue with her in front of Justin, so I said, "I need you to come with me." "I’m not coming with you, and you can’t fire him," She said. I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. Day by day, she gets more stubborn. "If you don’t come with me, I swear to God I will fire him, and I will make sure he never gets hired again," I said, my voice heavy with sincerity. I won’t hesitate to do that — after all, I don’t even care about Justin. Osline hesitated, but when she saw the sad look on Justin’s face, her heart must have melted, because she finally gave in. "Fine. I’ll go with you."

"Whenever you're ready." Not ready to talk about it. Maybe not ever. "Back to work," I called out, voice steadier than I felt, and blew the whistle one more time.

Politics silent. Logan sat on Lily’s lap, head resting against her collarbone, eyes half-lidded but alert. I stared at him. “The void obeyed,” I said. “It could’ve swallowed all of us. But it didn’t. It… stepped back.” Cassian looked rattled. “I’ve read of ancient forces—death incarnate, chaos spirits—but never anything that listens to a child.” Ember’s voice was flat. “He’s not just a child. He’s the offspring of fire and fang. He’s the child of prophecy. The storm we were warned of.”

“Then she can't either.” Her finger trembled on the trigger. “You are mine.” Her eyes were wild. “Only mine.” Louis slowly stood up. “Give me the gun.” His voice carried a quiet threat. Siana laughed weakly. “I love you so much.” Her eyes looked empty. “And you don't care at all. Her breathing became uneven. “Fine.” She smiled strangely. “Then I will take you with me.” Her finger started pulling the trigger. “I can't live without you.” Tears streamed down her face.

We kept on chanting as the green flames burned brighter, the circle started shaking and I felt it start to give in. I opened my eyes as the circle fell into the ground and disappeared. The flames spread from my hands to cover me and it felt hot to me, it was more powerful than I had ever felt it. “Rof,” I screamed as I looked at the house and the windows exploded inwards and the doors swung open. I heard gunshots and ran full speed through the front door and I saw Bryan fighting with one man, I turned and saw Vincent running up the stairs. “Stǫðva, mein.” He fell backwards down the stairs holding his head and screamed.

, he paused. “So, I’m narrating and the both of you are cuddling”, he said jokingly and everyone looked at Bruno and Enola and they separated from each other. ‘As I was saying’, he continued, “So, Omek observed a secret. He noticed that the goddess had something called heart of the river, it looked like a small staff. Without that staff, the goddess would turn to water and the water would overflow. He didn’t know about this issue because when he asked the goddess, the goddess lied that without the staff, she turns to human and the sacrificed victims regains their freedom.

He stepped into the center of the magma wall. "Breathe, he's fine. It couldn't have burnt him." I heard Silver. When my eyes rested on her, her eyes were red with crying. I didn't need the power to sense the danger. I could feel it inside me that they were going to face something very dangerous. "Fire is in his blood." Elizabeth said. Fear was visible in her eyes. I could only nod my head. My eyes never left him. The magma pushed away from him, showing waves of blue water.

He pondered these questions, even as he went about his daily routines and responsibilities. ******************************* Isabella Grace Montgomery had always been known for her ambition and assertiveness. Her staff respected her for her dedication, but there were moments when her demeanor could be harsh and imperious. One particularly stressful morning, Isabella stormed into the office, her high heels clicking loudly against the polished floor. It's a breathtaking sight, one that fills me with awe. As I watch in amazement, Loic enjoys my awed reactions, a smile playing on his lips. The fire engulfs his arm, a shimmering veil of warmth and light, and my concern bursts out. "Loic, be careful! The fire...it could hurt you!" He chuckles softly, his voice filled with reassurance. "Don't worry, Isa. Fire cannot harm me, I was born from the flames." With a wave of his hand, the flames dissipate, leaving his arm unscathed without a single blemish.

Flames erupted in a circle around me. “Nova!” Mara’s voice snapped like a whip. I barely heard her over the roar in my ears. My skin was burning—but not damaged. It didn’t hurt like fire should. It felt… alive. Like it was speaking. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. Just as the fire around me leapt higher— A blast of icy water crashed into me from the side, knocking me flat. I choked, coughing as steam exploded off my soaked body. My hair stuck to my cheeks, dripping. The flames hissed and died.
