Like it was a goodbye wrapped in a confession. He didn’t cry. Not yet. But it was coming. Like a storm in his chest, building slow, pressure rising behind his ribs, behind his eyes, deep in his throat. And when it broke? He knew it wouldn’t be quiet. Johnny leaned forward, elbows on his knees, knuckles white around the ring box. He opened it again. The diamond winked under the bar lights. Modest. Clean. Just like her. He’d spent two weeks picking it out. Drove three towns over. Told the lady behind the counter she had blue eyes, a laugh like trouble, and a mouth that could shut him up with three words. He didn’t know what size she wore—just that he wanted to try.

They were a brand that focused on luxury jewelry and were quite renowned in the elite circles. After a thorough tour, Stella found that the jewelry designs did not particularly stand out. If she were a buyer, the pieces in the display cabinets would not entice her to make a purchase. These designs are actually the most requested by our clients. As for better ones, they do exist. But each piece costs millions and is locked in the safe."

I muttered. Eventually, the obsidian sold for six million. I barely even listened as my attention was focused on Carmen instead. She turned to Sandra who is looking around the big ornament shop. It's the most popular jewelry shop in the city also in the name of the Willy family. Sandra thought it was not a good idea to get Elizabeth jewelry as a gift since she is the ex-president of the most prestigious

Ignoring the last part of the sentence. “The necklace I gifted you back then?” Tessa instinctively reached for it inside her turtle necked top. “You mean this?” She gestured and Derek gave a slight nod. She stared. Her mouth parted. “You didn’t…” she whispered. He looked gutted. “Yeah. I put a tracker inside it.
