Oli shouted, but the huge oars were firmly stuck inside the slushy mud. Their ship was a modified version of the classical boat in which it had an extra layer of ores which can be rowed from below deck. Now that it was firmly stuck in sand, the ship was slowly being submerged. "Fucking hell," Oli swiftly jumped down and started pulling each oar by himself. On the way, he threw a few humans back on deck and continued struggling with the oars. Xia watched all this with his hands on his chin. Nyra’s point of view. We grabbed a boat and headed for town due to Ardonis’ claim that he “Knew a guy.’ The boat ride into town was a stark contrast to our peaceful island. The port was a chaotic scene of shouting men, screeching gulls, and the constant rumble of engines. There must be at least a hundred boats lined here. Ardonis expertly guided the boat into a crowded slip, his movements sure and confident. He grabbed a large, black duffel bag from under the console, and I couldn't help but wonder what, exactly, he had brought with him. It was heavy, that much was clear.

There were four other guards, all in swim trunks, two with masks and snorkels on. And two maids were standing on the water’s edge, both in polka dot bikinis. “There you are!” Demetrius exclaimed. “Come now! This is the Splendor! That’s my boat’s name. We’re going sailing! Take off your shoes, though. No shoes on the boat.”

It was bigger and heavier than the ones on TV looked, but it was better than nothing. Using the paddle, Hades pushed off from the side of the boat.
