Shadows of the past

Shadows of the past

"Trust me, I'm not Jamal please… Believe me. It was complicated. She pleaded tearfully. "Do you realize the gravity of what you've just done? You deceived me, Natasha – that's what you did. I now see the reason why you had rushed all of this. How can you explain to me that you had cancer and hid it so long until now and my daughter too is affected, why,why did you do this... takes a deep sigh and continued You know what, this situation is not just complicated; it's like a labyrinth of emotions. Honestly.. you're more haunting than a nightmare, and trust me, every fiber of my being aches with regret for being entangled in this".

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

Sienna adjusted the collar of her blouse as she stood in front of the small group of women seated in folding chairs. A banner hung behind her, the freshly printed letters reading: Lucia Foundation – Hope Beyond the Shadows. Natalia stood off to the side, clipboard in hand, giving her an encouraging nod. “You’ve got this,” Natalia whispered. Sienna smiled, then took a breath and stepped forward. “Thank you all for coming today. I know how hard it can be to walk into a room like this. I’ve been where you are. Caught in a world that told me silence was survival.”

MOONLIT SHADOWS

MOONLIT SHADOWS

Lukas joined in the fray, adding his own strength to the attack, trying to overpower the creature and stop its rampage. The battle was intense, with the shifting forms of the three shifters blending together in a whirlwind of fur, claws, and teeth. The creature fought back with all its power, unleashing its elemental abilities in an attempt to regain the upper hand. The forest around them was reduced to chaos, with trees uprooted, rocks shattered, and flames engulfing the area.

LUNAR BONDS

LUNAR BONDS

The Shadow Lord had used his dark magic to escape, leaving only chaos and devastation in his wake. As Amelia stood amidst the wreckage, her gaze fell upon a faint trail of eerie, green mist leading deeper into the cavern. It was a sign, a glimmer of hope that the Shadow Lord had left a trace of his presence behind. With a newfound determination, she followed the trail, her senses heightened, and her instincts guided her every step.

The Billionaire’s Marked Mate

The Billionaire’s Marked Mate

The bond was part of her now, whether she liked it or not. Suddenly, the mist parted, revealing a narrow clearing. Sunlight barely penetrated the canopy, casting dappled gold across a small stream. The forest smelled of wet earth, moss, and something… older. Primordial. It made Zaria shiver, but not from cold. A low growl came from the other side of the stream. Zaria froze. Across the water, the Shadow Alpha emerged from the mist, red eyes glowing with predatory cunning. Behind it, two smaller forms slithered from the undergrowth—lesser shadows, but still dangerous.

HEAT AND RUT. (Alpha Lycan and his Omega Tiger) (MxM)

HEAT AND RUT. (Alpha Lycan and his Omega Tiger) (MxM)

Chapter: 24. ****** The misty forest canopy blocked the afternoon sun, which was now at its lowest point, and cast an eerie light over the trees and the ground, which glittered like polished black obsidian. Shadows stretched long and sinuous as they snaked their way between trees, hiding behind rocks and bushes and even the barest hint of a fallen leaf. It took several minutes for the thick blanket to fade away, leaving a patchwork of color in its wake. The sky above the forest remained a clear azure with a few puffy white clouds floating slowly overhead, but beyond the treetops, the world had become a vast array of shades of grey, from deep cobalt blue to pale grey, to dull brown. This gave

The Enemy's Deal: It's More Than Just a Contract

The Enemy's Deal: It's More Than Just a Contract

"I do not mean that. I am just surprised. Since your Pack doesn't get involved with other Packs I do not expect that you will know them." He smiled again. "That I do not get involved with other Packs doesn't mean I don't know them." "That is still surprising. Why don't you get involved with..." He frowned. "Do you want to know about the Shadow Pack or do you want me to send you out?" He wants to send her out? Valerie scoffed. "Fine, tell me about the Shadow Pack." "As I said, they are the same as the Mountain Pack but the difference is that the Shadow Pack has sharper eyes and they can walk in the mist. So when you go to their Park you can hardly see what's in front of you or what's behind y

The Marked

The Marked

The knowledge terrifies me more than the darkness does. The pillars stand in what might have once been a clearing, though now it's choked with mist that clings to everything, dampening sound and obscuring vision. Beyond the circle, I can make out the suggestion of ruins—crumbled walls, fallen archways, the skeleton of something that was once grand. The mist moves strangely here, not drifting but pulsing, as if it's breathing.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

“Daughter of the night, Source of strength, To the light cannot exist, Its absence is the Wielder’s death.” Michelle snorted. “The answer is, obviously, a shadow. If I’m wrong, I’d be eating a Shorne.” “Wonderfully answered.” “Yeah, I know right! There’s a slight issue, though. A Wielder’s shadow can exist in the light.” “Of course.” “Then your riddle’s wrong—” Her accusations ended when the ground split into two. Blame pretended to scream as Reigna shouted her lungs out, owing for Michelle to scowl at the both of them.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Bound by Crystals and Shadows

Bound by Crystals and Shadows

The mist suddenly coiled around a tree ahead, swirling up the trunk and spilling down again in ribbons of green light. And from that light—something stepped out. Its form was wrong. Half shadow, half smoke. A body made of mist and ash, glowing faintly where veins of green light pulsed through it. It didn’t walk—it glided. Corin pushed me behind him, sword raised. “ Shadow spawn,” he hissed. The creature hissed back, its voice echoing like dozens of whispers overlapping. “ You shouldn’t have come here…”
