Off To The Races Elsie Silver Novels & Stories

Silver~ She'd just returned from shopping for the upcoming wedding when she was informed that Adele was here. Elated, the child climbed the stairs, behind her, her guards, who carried her shopping bags. She wanted Adele to see what she'd bought for herself and her. But on getting to the door, she saw Evelyn grip her wrist in the air. Silver was beyond furious when she barked the question, but as she stormed closer, she caught the red print blooming on Adele's cheek.

“Did you see them?” “Who?” Silver tugged at my trousers as he whispered. “Daddy, don’t tell her that we are here…..please” Elodie squinted her eyes at that moment as she took her gaze off me and fixed her eyes on the cookies and cake on the desk. She clicked her tongue in her mouth, taking Silas’s comic book before she muttered. “I think I heard a rat squeak?” She moved to the table, bent slightly, and screamed. “Boom!”

“Don't worry, darling. I'll make it up to you when we get our pay “ I rolled my eyes to hide my amusement. She dashed to the bathroom to get ready while I packed up the food. We might eat in the cab because we've wasted so much time already. Thankfully, Elsie was out of the bathroom in five minutes and already preparing for what to wear. She picked a simple floral dress and soon, we were on our way to Silver Fork. “Do you think he's going to be here early?” Elsie asked, munching on her burger.

CHAPTER 6: A Silver Goddess! Damian The strangest part was still being in her human form with all that lividness exuding from her. Tusk-sharp claws I would never imagine on a broken weakling like her. Scary canines exposed in a bitter snarl. Her naturally black hair waved thicker over her back with ancient silver streaks, gleaming no differently from the blinding light in her eyes, or do I call it blazing flames? The room burned hotter with every passing second.

Because the security of Oneil is no question of the past but a concern in the future. She hurried Aggresso as if commanding her to chase the other soldiers in the battle. Essi kept on doing it, with the sense that Aggresso seemed to be flying for her. As they set again for another lap, Aggresso is already heading the race. More laps were completed with the intention of Essi to chase Charlotte and enjoy the lightness of the wind behind her hair. In a blink of an eye, or so as it may seem to her, she lead Aggresso within the rumbling of seconds only. Then after that, the race got completed.

Our days went on like this. Time passed. Daire hunted and built Cedar’s room. Cedar and I practiced everything Daire taught us and I started to tend the house. “Lucrezia get up.” I rubbed sleep from my eyes. Daire was holding his hand out to me. I gladly took it. He lifted me to my feet. He opened the door and we walked together. A beautiful horse was connected to a small carriage. I had never seen both before. The horse was black with a white stripe down their back. The carriage was black metal. I spun around smiling. Daire’s eyebrow wiggled. I laughed.

Her gaze flicks toward the track where Arthur is adjusting his gloves beside his royal blue motorcycle. “Yeah, sure.” Evelyn snorts. “I’m not even convinced my sister’s here to cheer for our brother. She might accidentally scream for Reed instead of Rhett.” Elsie’s cheeks turn red as she slaps Evelyn’s arm. “Don’t start.” Melanie smirks. “Well, Elsie’s still trying to win her man back. Who knows? Maybe today or tomorrow will be her lucky day. She’s got time before the championship race.” “Ooh, maybe he’ll give her the golden wreath again. Such a princess moment.” Evelyn grins mischievously.

Anda rolled her eyes. "So I found out there's a horse race going on tonight at the village square so I signed up" Adam smiled. "You can't race.. what if you fall off and dies?" Anda glared at him. "I signed up as Anda Samuels, I'll do the talking and you'll do the racing" Adam replied. "You smart son of a bitch" Anda Screamed excitedly attracting attention. "So, The official boat race starts next week.. I think it's a good thing we came to Dullard" Adam smiled.

I had to struggle to suppress a laugh. The Silver Myst was an urban legend, a pure silver wolf who showed up when things looked at their worst. He first appeared near four years ago, shortly after the war began, and has, supposedly, been seen numerous times since. It was always out of the corner of someone’s eye, or seen by a friend of a friend. Chris and the others were too old to believe in fairy tales.

“It leaves about an hour after the game ends.” “Oliver Lance gave this stuff to you to give to me?” Elsie asked, shaking her head. “How is that possible? How did he know you'd be picking me up?” “Mr. Lance has many connections,” the driver said. “It's not difficult when you're famous, you know? He did want me to tell you one thing, though. He said, and I quote, 'Elsie, please come to my game. Even if you don't want to talk to me, you'll still get to finally watch a live football game. And also, you'll get to fly home in first class afterwards. Remember what I said? Anything for my girl'.”
