Ophelia was not even allowed a chance to scream as a piece of cloth was tied over her mouth and a bag was placed over her head, preventing her from seeing. Ophelia groaned and threw her legs and arms around, but two pairs of hands caught her legs and arms and held her down.

Her hands reached out to grab Ace and I's leg but on instinct, I flinched and stepped back while Ace remained frozen. "Please," she wheezed, voice sounding scratchy against my ear, "Help me," she begged. For what? I wasn't sure. I was still trying to process what was happening when her raised head dropped onto the ground sharply, making a loud thud. Ace finally gave a reaction and maybe instinctively, he reached out to grab her but wasn't quick enough as her head already hit the ground.

Never. Her head fell back, her soft hair falling over her skin.
