Oh So You Re Approaching Me Novels & Stories

"What is the meaning of this?" I rose slowly from my seat, relishing the sense of power that pulsed through my veins. "Relax, old man," I drawled, my tone dripping with mock concern. "No need to get your robes in a twist. I'm just here for a friendly chat." Yes. A very friendly chat.

Am I ready to do that? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ See you 👋 LOVE ALL❤️

I asked hoping to distract him from whatever foolishness he was thinking. "Why?" "Um..." "Do, you mean e-mail? Or a physical address." "Actually nevermind." "I mean... you could still come to see me... how about, I look into it and get back to you?" I walked on ahead. "D-do what you want." "What's with that attitude all of a sudden?!" "What attitude?" "So cold!"

It’s time tо ѕау gооdbуе, but I can’t. “See уоu ѕооn.” I jumр out bеfоrе hе can say аnуmоrе. The proximity оf hіm still hаѕ mе rееlіng frоm bеfоrе. I’m nоw unсоmfоrtаblе іn my own ѕkіn. If I’m gоіng to gо, it has tо be nоw.

"Yeah, besides I also don't know where to go if I don't live here with you guys, but I'm only here for a while, I also still have to get to know your son and of course you two, my life is already a mess so I don't want to be in the middle of this commotion" "Thank you El" Jake said and Eleven was silent.

“For you.” I took another step closer, not rushing her but not giving her the illusion of distance either. “Only for you.” There was no smile or any attempt to make it sound lighter than it was because it really wasn’t.

I said bluntly, approaching him. He blinked. “Okay. What’s wrong?” “You,” I stated. He froze, face blank from confusion. “Me?” “Yes. You. We need to talk.” I marched closer. “And don’t give me the ‘now’s not a good time’ speech. I’ll beat you with your own car keys.” His lips twitched. “I don’t think that’s necessary.” “Oh trust me,” I muttered, now a few inches away, arms folded. “It might be.”

"Too bad." I smack my lips in my usual tone, taking another gulp from my glass. It's vodka. I believe. "Do I at least stand a chance at a second date?" I throw my head back, chuckling deeply. "The first date isn't over and you're asking for a second?" "I'm Proactive." He grins, flashing his entire set of teeth. "We'll see." I smile back, then stand up. "I have to go use the restroom. I'll be right back."

“But if you can hear me…, will you come see me? I drew something for you. It’s really pretty. Bye.” The final click feels like a straight arrow shot through my chest.
