Jordan, unlike me, knew a few details about the reunion, like its location and how long it was supposed to last. Reunion, like its name suggests, is the time to get back to friends and people you left in the past. For me, there was nothing to get back to. But I wanted them to know they didn’t break my soul. Jace made sure that they didn’t have the last laugh. The females will show off their fiance or husband and their jobs, while the men will show off their wealth, jobs, and women. It had been over three years since we all graduated from the school, and so much had happened since then for me and also for others.

Reuben said, his grin wide as he stepped forward. I stared at him for a moment—Alpha Reuben from the BrightSun Pack, my childhood friend. It had been nearly twenty years since we last saw each other. We’d crossed paths at a business meeting last year and decided to pick up where we left off. He extended his hand for a handshake, but I pulled him into a hug instead. "You were gone for three months. Why wouldn’t I be glad to see you, man?" I laughed, pulling away. I sat down, and Chine poured me a glass of wine.

"It's so nice to meet you again," A girl said as she laid her bag on the table. The rest of the people who had already arrived greeted her just as they had for others. It had been 3 years since they last saw each other, which was on the last day of high school, and now the president of the batch 2017 had contacted all of them and invited them to the reunion. Everyone was laughing loudly and enjoying themselves; talking about the old times and how they had been doing after that.

Ken’s POV “It was nice to see you again. Who’s with you?” I saw my old friend from college who used to be my partner with my thesis. She was like a nerd before that’s why I am very surprised to see her again looking very different. “I’m with my friend. Do you want to join us?” “I am also leaving. I just passed by to see a friend” “Too bad. We just saw each other after so long but you’re leaving” “I heard we have a reunion?” “Yeah. They’re planning about it but probably that will happen next year because everyone’s busy in the following months”

I play with my glass as I watch Hannah rub herself against Beau, who doesn’t seem to be enjoying her company very much, but that doesn’t matter. He’s still marrying her. I’m going to have a drinking problem by the time this wedding is over. The rehearsal dinner is tonight, and it’s going horribly for me. Everyone keeps talking about how they’re such a good match for each other. I’m already imagining how awful tomorrow will be. I can’t believe I agreed to stay. What the hell was I thinking?

I replied, leaning back, huffing. "Huh?? Isn't his last name Ols-" Fred started in a surprised voice. "He changed his name," I said curtly. "You know a lot about him," Fred said scathingly, "What are you, his personal assistant?" "Haha," I replied humourlessly, "Olsen's father and my grandad were friends, and thus, my dad and him being childhood buddies." "No wonder they even share hobbies," Fred said darkly, taking a sharp turn, throwing me towards the window.

"Aren't we going back to the old residence every year to celebrate with Old Madam Shelby?" "I don't want to go." Meredith was surprised. When she mentioned that Old Madam Shelby asked him what he wanted to eat in the morning, Charlie did not say a word. She thought he had tacitly agreed to return to the old residence for dinner. "But...don't you and your siblings go back every year for a reunion? And Old Madam Shelby didn't go back to accompany Old Sir Shelby to accommodate you. Wasn't it a bit inappropriate if you don't back?"

said Tom Then Zed motioned for the bartender to bring a glass of beer. "So what has become of our colleagues?" Zed asked. "Since I left college, I rarely meet our comrades. Most are elsewhere. Frederic stood up and said: "Hey guys while you're celebrating your reunion, I'm taking this opportunity to go fishing for one or two super girls of the evening see you soon!"

"What did you have in mind?" "I don't know yet," she admits, laughing. "But something. This deserves something." We end up calling Alfred, then Leon, then eventually most of the old friend group, everyone converging on our favorite diner within the hour, the celebration spilling out into genuine, unguarded joy that feels entirely different from the frantic relief of surviving the scandal. Rodney shows up too, hesitant at first, before Alfred waves him over without hesitation, folding him seamlessly back into the group in a way that feels like real, earned reconciliation instead of forced tolerance.
