Picking a card from Clover hand. " Yes. " Clover approved, raising her chin a bit higher in a side eye "We do all." Olive commented. "This card said great things are coming for you. " Clover stated. "But they will cost you." Olive noted, snatching the card from my hand. I tried to get the card but produced water from the other setting the card having it shiver to the ground. "We heard about that code you couldn't crack." Clover remarked. "So here's a book that will help." Olive handed me a dirty green book, the spine was broken, and it felt as it was going to break in any second. On the cover said, "The Code That the Wise One Knows.”

Which honestly should have surprised nobody. The ancient guardian appeared carrying a book nearly as large as Althea. The little girl immediately pointed at it. Apparently approving. Order looked pleased. Naturally. He placed the text on the table. "I found something." Every person in the room immediately stopped what they were doing. That alone told me how desperate we were. Order opened the book carefully. The pages looked ancient. Older than most kingdoms. The writing glowed faintly. Hunter leaned closer. Chaos actually became serious.

She promises, pointing to an area where there are a few chairs around a table. I nodded, still a little uneasy but don't word it out. I better start searching for what I came here for and quickly. As Lily skimmed her way through the endless books, I decided to stay where I am and skim the big book she handed to me. Its olive green cover was very old and showed that it had been here for ages. There was no indication of what the book held in its knowledge apart from the golden art of a wolf sketched into it. I opened the book, the dusty yellow pages greeting me. I coughed. It seems no one had bothered to dust it off. It must've been sitting here for God knows how long.

Adam replied, feeling perplexed by the sudden turn of events. "Take what you want and leave. But don't touch the plants," the old man warned, sizing up the unexpected visitor. "I am not a thief," Adam protested, attempting to defuse the tension. "Really? Then why are you here? No one has set foot here for ages, except for thieves," the old man retorted, eyeing Adam warily. "I am looking for a book called 'Wolves and Their Subclasses,'" Adam explained, hoping to convey his genuine purpose.

“I just wanted to change the environment a bit. You’ve gotten your wolf dragon now. So there is nothing taking us back there.” Nyxoria looked down at the worn-out book still in her hands, her fingers gently running across the rough, faded cover. “So, are you the owner of this book?” she asked curiously once again. Ora stepped closer and gently took the book from her hands, flipping it open with practiced fingers. “What do you think?” she asked. “These are poems. Very old ones.” “Do you understand the writing? The language looks strange to me,” Nyxoria asked, tilting her head.

"Mmh. Come, let me show you." I led him through the various sections, telling him all about my favourite books. Eventually, we came to a section filled with first-edition books, with the oldest dating back to the eighteenth century. There was only a small collection, but each one was as rare as the next. Some of them were only available for renting. I reached for a copy of Oliver Twist. “Have you ever read Oliver Twist? Sean looked at the cover and shook his head. “Nope. Is it good?”

As I read the first lines, I began to understand why it had been pushed away and left unseen. The writing was hard to read and very old. The words were strange, and the pages were filled with old signs and markings that were not easy to understand. Even so, as I read more carefully, I found parts that spoke clearly to what I was facing. The book explained the beginning of an ancient wolf. It told the story of a golden wolf and where it came from.

The wise words and advices of the old man made sense to her. Outside, the rain had softened into a quiet drizzle. The old man rose from his chair. He wandered through one of the shelves before pulling out a small hardcover book bound in dark blue cloth. ts pages had yellowed with age. He placed it carefully on the counter. "It belonged to my daughter." Elara looked up. The daughter word caught something in her. Why would he give something to her? The word sounded so precious. "She loved writing," she stared at the book. It was old, wrinkled yet contained lots of emotions.
