It was a smart play. Then the figure spoke, his voice a low, calm baritone that carried easily across the still air. “Sabatine Stalker. Mr. Rogers sent me. My name is Leon Vartanian. I am his Head of Executive Protection. He’d like you to come in from the cold.”

"Don't argue. Leave that damn Alpha to me!" Jade stopped and saw the figure who dared to criticize the leader from the bottom up. He also felt the aura of his comrades who could not bear to kill the rogue. Not once did he meet this kind of Wolf for the same reason. Meet with Alpha Nick. Even though still, the most substantial reason for the Rogues is to ravage a pack. But to Romeo's astonishment, This Wolf only came alone. Jade clawed the back to give an initial impression as a form of introduction. He felt it was necessary because this rogue's dedication deserves a thumbs up.  The Wolf roared and tried to hurt Jade, but it was inevitable due to Danny and the others ' watchful attitude.

He shrugs, "Looks like someone doesn't want this union to happen more than you." I mind link Steve and get no reply, "Steve's not answering me, you think he's out of the territory?" Chris shrugs, "knowing Steve, if he has a guys scent, he won't let up till he catches him, so it's possible, I swear the guy is more bloodhound than wolf." I chuckle, "true, let's get back, clean up and see if anything else is destroyed, or just my future." After I shower and put on clean sweatpants, I return to my office to find my Beta sitting there, I sit and the packhouse landline phone rings, I pick it up, "Crescent Moon, Alpha Braddock speaking."

The Ironwood beta laughed so hard he had to wipe his eyes. “You? Silver Hollow’s so desperate they’re sending a half-shifted omega to face me?” I stepped into the pit anyway. The dirt was still wet with Bastian’s blood and Gregor’s sweat, and my bare feet squelched against it. The Ironwood beta stood on the far side, still laughing. He was built like a battering ram, with a thick neck and fists the size of my skull, and his brown wolf’s claws clicked against the stone as he cracked his knuckles one by one.

Oliver Breakfast was over all too quickly. I had already forgotten most of the names of the pack members who were introduced to me, most of whom were warriors or farmhands who report to Ryan. He wasn’t there this morning, but we were told he was already out working. We got up and walked to Narissa’s office with her leading the way. Sophia and Sam stood up to join us. Before we could enter the office, I stop suddenly, causing them to slam into me accidentally.

Gamma Dave said, forcing me to turn back and see how close he was. “ARGH!” I grunted as my neck was grabbed in Gamma Dave’s hold speedily, squeezing it tightly. He lifted me off the ground, laughing menacingly, while I struggled to break free. “Are you ready to speak up, Omega? Tell me where the Rogue is, and I’ll spare you the punishment. Think wisely or else..” He added more strength to his grip, slowly taking my breathe from me. In my state, I choked out, “Do… Your… Worst!”

A howl sounds some distance in the front, just at the same time a group of rogues leap out of the bushes. I spring into motion immediately, all my training kicking in. I knock the first one down just before he shifts into his wolf, wrapping the wire around his neck and pulling hard. Suddenly, the clearing is a battlefield. Weapons clash against weapon, rogues fall down. I roll to the side, avoiding the snapping of fangs as a wolf lands where I stood a second ago. From the corner of my eye, I see Ragnar watching it all from the sidelines, like a messenger of death himself.

I closed my eyes and tried to steady my breathing. “How is my wolfless omega doing?” “What do you want, Anita?” Roxanne asked quietly. The news I had just dropped, made her weak as it made me. “I wasn't speaking to you. The wolfless omega has a mouth to respond. Or has she lost her speaking ability? Ah, you are really unfortunate” “I can speak and I am not wolfless” I replied. I had a lot I need to do and speaking to Anita and her minors isn't one of them.

Storming into theirs I kneel down out of breath “ Oh goodness are you alright dear?” grams says running over to me “ yeah I’m fine I just had to walk back here because my car wouldn’t start.” “ I wonder if you were a target.” she mumbled “ what?” “ Nothing dear, go to the kitchen and I’ll make some tea.” I do as she says, watching her make tea I couldn’t help but ask “ Have you heard of this ‘king’ rogue who’s built himself a pack back in the US?”

"I have thousands of wolves, including my daughter to fight with you against Big Boss." Roger's proposal made me think for a few seconds, weighing the conceivable possibilities if I would say yes to it. However, if I say yes, there will always be casualties on it no matter how effective their plan is. Aside from that, it comes to my senses that Big Boss is a powerful and merciless werewolf alpha. Roger was simply an omega like me. The huge difference between us is that I have royal blood that runs through my veins that can make me an alpha if given the chance.
