The Vampire Lord Wants My Blood

The Vampire Lord Wants My Blood

I lifted my hand to scratch the back of my neck, but she spoke sharply, stopping me in my tracks. “Hands down! A Consort must always be the picture of elegance and restraint.” Her voice rang with both authority and disdain. I nodded silently, not wanting to say the wrong thing. I turned back to look at the flowers, but she spoke again. “This is the Nolorith flower. It is a plant of both poison and medicine. It is dangerous to handle it carelessly,” she remarked, while stroking the stem of the branch closest to us. “Nearly all the plants in this courtyard possess poisonous properties.”

Reiver

Reiver

Contained in the pool of light was a simple rustic table with a long golden box placed upon it, stood on top of the box was a small vase containing a single white flower, its petals closed giving the impression it was sleeping. Brother Andrew saw Annie staring at the flower. “Ipomoea alba.” he said quietly. Annie frowned at him questioningly. “Or more commonly known as the Moonflower, it only blooms at night, its petals open when the moon rises.” he explained. “It is said that Menai wore them in her hair.”

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

Leon's heart skipped a beat. The Nine Suns Flower was similar to the Sunlit Herb. They were both incredibly strong herbs filled with light! It was the exact opposite of the motherwort! Motherwort could help martial artists to use dark and cold techniques to improve, while the Nine Suns Flower and the Sunlit Herb could help martial artists who used light attribute techniques! "Leon, you did a lot in killing Poisonwielder this time! I specifically prepared this Nine Suns Flower for you," Alfred said with a smile. The Nine Suns Flower was an absolute treasure. It was incredibly rare!

The Many Faces of a Vengeful Heiress

The Many Faces of a Vengeful Heiress

"It's fine. If someone took them, then at least they're being useful. I only wanted to take them back to avoid wasting them. Let's go." "I'll order you some flowers later. What do you like? Roses?" Emma asked as she followed Summer. "Sunflowers," Summer answered. "That's definitely unique," Emma replied. Summer looked at her. "What's not to like? They always face the sun, and they're useful, too. You can even use their seeds." "Oh…" Emma gave Summer a look that suggested Summer didn't act like a rich heiress at all. Summer didn't say anything about it as she quickly returned to the set.

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Supreme Emperor of Swords

It had been lost for a long time, but the Sword Master didn't expect it to be here. "In other words, it's still a treasure." Ding Hao was amazed. The master of the Ceroman Clan was unlucky enough to be treated as a fertilizer. However, from all signs, it seemed that he had not been killed by the Asura Golden Sunflower. Instead, the sunflower had been rooted in the Ceroman's body and used him as nourishment after his death. This type of flower was indeed a bit terrifying. According to the Sword Master, the Asura Golden Sunflower was a rare plant. When it grew up, it might be able to be psychic, develop intelligence, and walk like an animal.

Conquering The Emperor

Conquering The Emperor

I said happily to encourage him while pointing my finger at another type of flower that was a little way off. “This orange flower is called the Sunrise of Joy. It’s from the south and I think it was gifted to my father when the governor of that town visited and it was planted here since then,” Ren said as he smiled at me. I bent down to peer closer at a Sunrise of Joy flower. The flower looked round and cute with many small orange petals. I guess I could sort of see why it was called the Sunrise of Joy. “It’s very pretty. So round and brightly colored…” I said in admiration.

Loyal to Her Lies

Loyal to Her Lies

A uniformed delivery man stepped in, holding a massive bouquet of unusual, breathtaking flowers—deep blue petals with pale silver streaks that shimmered like frost. "Delivery for Mrs. Aisla Reyes," he said with a polite nod, placing the card in my hand before turning on his heel and leaving. Before I could open it, Nico walked in. His presence, always commanding, filled the room in a blink. Immaculate as ever in a tailored suit, his jaw freshly shaven and his hair slightly tousled. "You're up," he said, voice smooth, almost casual. "I got these..." I held up the bouquet. "I know," he replied, already pulling something from his coat pocket. "They're called moon orchids. Only bloom once a year

Just his eyes burning into mine. He was for a fourteen year old. I let him into my life, he held on the bumpy ride. I put up my first flower on the wall that day, next to a butterfly. It was a rose.

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

The medicinal fragrance emitting from it was rather strong, and there was even a subtle spiritual glow there. Recognizing it as the Moonlight Orchid, Severin knew that it thrived in locations where the energy from the stars were at its strongest. Its medicinal properties were rather potent, as it was able to enhance one's solar spirit and blood energy, not to mention serving as a key ingredient in refining numerous seventh-grade herbs. In terms of healing wounds, the Moonlight Orchid possessed a unique ability to restore one's solar spirit and defy the odds of recovery as long as one's life was not hanging by a thread.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

The Captive

The Captive

I asked when we got to our destination— the place he wanted to take me to. We were sitting on a bench; just right before a small, see through fence that housed a bed of several kinds of flowers; sunflowers, lilies, zinnias, roses, tulips, and hibiscus flowers even. The sun's setting ray on the flowers adds an iridescence to it; like a yellowish orange shade shining and lording over yellow, red and pink colors; each flower beautiful in it's own diversity. The blend was all together, magnificent.
