He is such an impatient wolf. “I heard what you were thinking human” I quickly shift, and Onyx walks up to Tamaska in all his midnight black glory. Onyx is taller than Tamaska, but only by a little. They are a perfect match. Onyx looks like the night sky and Tamaska looks like the moon itself shining in the night sky.

Onyx says swiftly, marching past me and grabbing my wrist along the way. I jolt in his direction with a surprised squeak before he whips me around and places his hand on my throat. He entwines his fingers in my hand, drawing my arm away and exposing my chest as I breathe erratically because of his closeness. Onyx presses his chest to my back and leans his face into my neck, taking a deep inhale. “Don’t break free until the last minute.” He whispers, and I furrow my brows. “Make it seem like I’ve given up, then use a burst of energy to surprise them?” I ask, trying to understand the tactic.

The perfectly thick and long neck meeting ended at a voluminous and symmetrical chest with a perfect shape of muscles, forming a straight line in the middle, which ended at the ripped eight-pack abs. With every step, the V-line moved in a way that made me feel a tightness in my core. Aurora was still on guard, but she was also checking out our mate. The most astonishing part was his shaft. He looks at himself and at first he noticed nothing different and look closer untill he sees the gold in his eyes. 'Onyx what is this?' Landon asks in shock. ' I don't know, alot has changed but I don't know what Landon and it kind of bothers me' Onyx says not very happy. He pulls of his shirt and immediately sees the mark on his neck and he looks closer. He looked out the window at the wolves that were running beside the SUV. He searched for his friend that was running next to the window before they got the news that the Lycans had reached the jet and were tearing through it trying to get to the pups. Onyx picked up speed easily passing the wolves ahead of him and the SUV he could no longer be seen. Onyx was the fastest of the warriors even in human form. Blaze knew he was afraid for his mate and his pup. He kissed the top of Mina’s head lightly, pressing his hand on her stomach reassuring himself that his pup was ok. The flutters that followed made him smile; his pup was strong.

And that was beneficial for me, I could barely stand Onyx and bringing Elijah back to her life means bringing him back to my life and I can't stand him. "You can't go," I said, my voice firm and rigid. I tried not to give away too much from my voice because Onyx might not be bright but she isn't stupid she can tell when someone is giving her bullshit from a mile away, that skill of hers had been an important tool for us in our business, she is a good bullshit detector. Onyx raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me? I can go wherever I want." she paused and dropped the coffee cup which she was holding in her hand on the cup holder and adjusted her stance a bit.

A minute or so later, he finally nodded, but she didn’t release him. Onyx inhaled deeply, preparing himself to go back to a time that he hated—preparing himself to reveal something that might make his job to earn a place in her life even harder. “I wasn’t born in the Dawn Pack. My family is originally from a pack in Manhattan. They don’t have a plot of land; they purchased an apartment block that’s near a wooded area. The entire pack lives inside the block, and they use the wooded area to run in. One day, I was walking with my sister through the woods when we came across four human males. Their ages ranged from seventeen to twenty-one.”

It felt comforting to reconnect with someone who was supportive. As evening began to paint the sky in hues of orange and pink, Onyx grew quiet, his gaze lingering on me with a mix of fondness and longing. He tentatively reached out, his hand inching closer, but I raised mine gently, creating a barrier between us. “Onyx,” I murmured softly, meeting his eyes with a silent warning, “you can’t get too close. If Zavier senses your scent on me... it’ll only cause more complications for both of us.”
