Taylon did not hesitate. He threw open the heavy wooden door of the conservatory and sprinted into the corridor, his body blurring as he gave himself over to the shift. By the time his boots left the stone floor, he had transformed into the massive, midnight-black Alpha of the Onyxclaw line. Stay close, Taylon commanded through the mind-link, his mental voice vibrating with lethal intent.

Onyx waved his hand and slipped it inside his pocket. "You f*ucking w*hore!" Owen yelled, and Onyx's head shot back at him. Onyx's eyes darkened as he trembled with wrath. "Say that again! I dare you!" His chest shuddered with wrath as he growled. Not a single word came out of Owen's mouth as he started trembling in fear starting into Onyx's haunting eyes. Ophelia was shocked beyond words at Onyx's reaction and all she could do was let Onyx drag her to the elevator. Ophelia didn't realize she was staring at Onyx until he looked down at her and she cleared her throat. She took a step away from his arm, and his grip on her waist loosened.

Onyx clapped a hand on my shoulder to try and reassure me as I walked back to our bedroom. I growled, "I'm not resting until she has been found. You know my wolf won't settle without our mate." "Where would you like to start looking?" Onyx was a good Delta. He never argued with me, he followed his orders and only asked the pertinent questions. If I wanted someone killed, Onyx asked who and how. If I wanted someone tortured, Onyx simply waited for me to give him a name and he carried out the rest. Sometimes, Onyx was so in tune to what I wanted, that I didn't need to say a word. Onyx was already handling the situation how I wanted things done.

Zyphre grabbed his left hind limb, pressing the right hind limb with his right paw while Orion continued thrashing his body to Onyx’s large frame. Onyx tried hard to get away from our grip and howled aloud when Zyphre sank his teeth at the same place that was burned from the silver chains earlier. “He managed to overcome the pain and effects of silver.” I muttered to myself, feeling both amazed and frustrated. No one was free to hear my ranting, and it didn’t bother me. Orion was standing tall at his full height, crushing Onyx under his weight and aura, suppressing his roars and howls.

Onyx stated, ignoring his friends words. "Your wish is done old friend, go and rest, before you leave, we will create a plan on how to get her and when," Robert said. "I will give you my teams if I have to," he continued as Onyx nods, "ok then, let me go and utilized by gift well," he says, dragging his Omega with him. As he left, Felix had come close to him, unsure of his kings words. "Are you really going to support him?" Felix asked.

Towering skyscrapers of black obsidian and steel pierced the sky, connected by glowing sky bridges. Maglev trains zipped between the spires like silver veins. It was a marvel of Lycan engineering, a place where ancient magic met cutting-edge technology. "It’s... massive," Ashren whispered. "It houses two million Lycans," I said. "The wealthiest, most powerful packs in the world live here. It is a long way from the log cabins of Silver Creek."

Grady leans a fraction. “Onyx?” he asks the part of him that bares teeth only for need. Hold, Onyx says, rumble over our matebond.
