Maddie’s lifeless face didn’t show any trace of reaction and stayed in the same state. Onyx growled aloud, closing the distance between his body and the hospital bed. He hovered over her body, his breaths now fanning her face. His canines extended out because of the instability of his emotions. “Wake up, Madeline Summers.
