I took out the medicine bottle, which the pharmacist immediately took. She typed the name into the minicomputer. "Uhm, Miss, is that medicine orange?" I simply asked. "No, Ma'am. It's pink." She also returned the bottle to me. I was glued to my place, "But it was orange when my husband bought it. Here it is." I opened the bottle and showed the orange tablets in there. She frowned and took the bottle, took out a few pills, and sniffed them some more. "I'm sure the tablet of this brand is pink, so how did it turn orange?" she curiously asked herself.

Daiji continued, introducing the pair of Kitsune flanking them with a jerk of his head in each of their directions. “Tsk, tsk, tsk, girl. Get any angrier and you’ll be as crimson as my nails,” Navin spoke…and wiggled her fucking fingers in my face. “I got them done just before we left to come here. I wanted yellow, but I figured Soaré would be wearing the color.”

Light as feathers. Teasing. Vivian's face flushed. "Julian..." "Good." Julian praised her as he pressed the shutter. His throat moved uncontrollably. The phone burned my hand like a hot coal. I dropped it, stumbled into the bathroom, and vomited until there was nothing left. As if I could somehow vomit out all the disgust and revulsion in my chest.

I took it from her outstretched hand. It was light. The sides and back were orange, the same color as the box, with a silver vector image of an orange etched into the metal. "It's really pretty."
