I was a hero, and I was proud of it. As I walked, I noticed a figure approaching me from the distance. It was a woman, tall and stately, with long silver hair and eyes that shone like the stars. She approached me with a warm smile, and I could sense a deep wisdom and power emanating from her. "Greetings, Lila," she said. "I have been watching you from afar. You have proven yourself to be a true hero, and I am proud of you." I felt a surge of gratitude and respect for this mysterious woman. Who was she, and how did she know so much about me?

I was curious about her. Night quickly fell and I made my way into the fight club. One of my many fight clubs. Match after match. Usually the way, I pick my men. The best fighters get money. But to my ultimate shock a woman just beat the crap out of 10 men in a row without a sweat. Hella talented. Only when she was given her hand up I only recognised it was her. Once again, I see her. The shorts were tightly wrapped along her legs and a sports bra clasping onto her breasts.

I said and the woman smiled. “You do not need to pay respect to a person who did not die.” She said, making me frown in confusion. “A hero is never dead. His legacy will live forever just like my daughter’s will. Therefore, young man, you do not need to pay your respect for a man who is alive within the stars.” I smiled at her words as both Hana and I got up from the swing. “I will boil the water, you two finish whatever private conversation you were having then you can come inside. You included young man,”

“I apologize for the sudden interruption. But I need to say something… not just to this room, but to one person in particular.” My cheeks flushed. “Months ago, I met a woman who turned my world upside down. She challenged me, surprised me, and showed me what real strength looked like. She didn’t ask for anything. She never begged. But she gave me everything.” Gasps and murmurs rippled through the room. “And I let her go.” Cameras began flashing. “She is the strongest woman I’ve ever met. A single mother. A fighter. A woman with a heart bigger than the empire I run. And I was a coward who let her walk away.”

**** The room became quiet again and I let out a long breath I didn’t realize I had been holding. My shoulders relaxed slowly, as strange warmth settled in my chest. The person I had admired for so long… was real and kind. A strong leader and a compassionate woman. When people say never meet your hero… I guess that didn’t apply to me. Several minutes passed and I still couldn’t sleep even though the clinic was quieter than earlier, Normally, that calmness would have relaxed me but tonight, my mind refused to rest. The Luna’s words kept replaying in my head. I didn’t know why that mattered so much to me but it did. Maybe because I wanted it to be true… because I’ve always wanted someone to be

"See, Sir... you have so much immense wealth. You can make any gorgeous girl your own, and you'll find plenty who are genuinely interested in you. She muttered, her voice breaking. She was weak and tired. Nonetheless, she managed to say something before slipping into another state of unconsciousness. "Thank you for coming here. Thank you so much for saving me again." She proceeded. "I've always wanted a hero since I was a child. Thank you for becoming one. Thank you, my hero." She closed her eyes and let exhaustion claim her. Finally, she'd found solace. Eventually, she’d been saved. ~•~ DARIUS POV Darius did not use a car.

I yank her back and as she falls on me, I grab her chin gently; my thumb runs along her cheeks as I wipe her tear-stained face. “I am not a good person, Gus.” Her eyes turn misty again and I can only imagine the pain she’s carrying on her shoulders, she’s misunderstood by everyone, like when you are reading a book or watching a movie, you really hate the villain and want them dead, but did anybody ever understand the villain? Cleo’s like that, but she’s not my villain, she’s my fucking hero.

All I saw when I looked at her was a weak, fragile human that put us all at risk. How horribly wrong I was. Now, when I look at her, I see a hero. A woman in her own right - not a hunter, not a wolf, not some prophecy puppet. But herself: fierce, powerful, and full of mercy. I'm proud of Hope. Humbled by her. But also heartbroken for her. She never should have carried that weight on her own, but she did. And she did it with so much grace. She stands straighter because of it.

I said coldly, "I see your company offers amazing employee benefits. The boss even escorts his secretary to the gynecologist." Marie rushed over and grabbed my hand. "Don’t misunderstand, Isabel. This is all my fault. My tummy was hurting yesterday, and I didn’t know anyone else in the office. I had no choice but to ask Mr. Grant to come with me… Ah!"
