I was confused, but mostly distraught at the thought that I would have something to do with the death of Joacjim. He was my hero, and he had given me a chance when nobody else did. To think that I would kill him for power was a terrible thing to insinuate.

“No sunlight. Only flames. It’s rumored that Mr. Consulate chose gold as his royal color to signify the Secondaries once again uniting with daylight. To walk amongst humankind beneath the sun. The red color makes it look like a flame, transforming what should be a banner of respect into a message of silent contempt.” “Or a silent threat.” “Perhaps.” I ponder the notion and study the banners more closely, focusing my hyper-vision into the stitching of the pattern. It was done hastily, by an inexperienced hand, at

I suggested and they both gummed my body like a glue. Everyone went in their teams and searched for the flag, Daniela and I looked everywhere but there wasn't any sign of the flag anywhere until Our team, Floria, saw that it has been flagged above a very tall cemetery.. "Oh shit! What do we go?". We looked above and contemplated on what to do... " What choice do we have, let's climb and get the flag before someone else does. I suggested. We had to use the tree's as a ladder to the top of the cemetery, Floria who had volunteered to take the flag, grabbed It the moment her hands could reach it .

And then the ceremony begins. The guards in green march forward and stick the flags into the pit, where their wooden poles quickly catch fire. The orange flames crawl up the flag and swallow the white fabric as it sways in the air like a phoenix taking flight. “Citizens of Sergei,” the old man announces, “we are all gathered here today to celebrate life and to mourn the loss that the Kingdom of Acantha just suffered at the loss of an important person. He had no strength left, yet it did not diminish his spirit to fight back against their enemies. “Brother Darryl, we will not lose! “Yes! The Elysium Gate will never die!
