Audrey's pov After everything, I started hearing some noises outside. It sounded like a fight was going on, or about to start. That caught my attention, as I stormed out to check. Oh no! Just like I thought, a fight was really going on, but it was just a fight, it was more like a war. The rogue pack that we fought with recently were back, and they seemed like they were in for a big one. The leader stood in front of them, and glared at me.

Before I can open my mouth, Truk blurts out. “The Outsiders are here on a rescue mission,” he says. “I found them and offered them my services as a guide through the dangerous Farlands.” The Alpha snorts and looks at the semi-hard erection fading between Truk's legs. "Right," he says sarcastically. “Your services.” Under his pierced brows, his eyes flick to me again. I have the feeling of being prey in the crosshairs of a deadly predator. I grip the gun tighter, taking comfort in its cold weight even though I know it's useless.

Funny how a king-sized bed can fit my entire world. Killian then made his way out to the balcony. He was being stealthy and he didn’t make a sound. Once he was outside, he let out a deep breath, stared at the dark waters ahead, and listened to the sound of waves crashing. If he listened hard enough, he could almost hear a voice. “Kill…? Killian?” the small voice spoke. Cas…? Is that you? “Killian?” the voice got louder all of a sudden. Killian realized it was coming from inside the house. He turned around and saw Audrey standing at the door.

“Look at you. Rolling your eyes back for the man you call trash. Such a desperate whore for the ordinary poor driver.” I kept the pace brutal, hips snapping forward hard, my balls slapping against her wet skin. The old bed creaked loud under us with every thrust. I slapped her ass again and again, leaving fresh red handprints that would be hard for her to hide tomorrow. We were both lost in the heat of it when a loud voice suddenly cut through the thin walls from outside the house. “Mom? I’m home!” It was Audrey. Her spoiled, sharp voice clearly coming from the front driveway.

The member list in the channel was painfully clear, showing only four avatars: my father, my mother, my brother, and Bella. My brother, Enzo, replied a moment later, "Just the four of us. Don't call Aurora." "If she comes, she'll just find another excuse to bully Bella." I stared at the words, frozen. It dawned on me then. In this family, I had been the outsider all along. ... I was about to step out from the narrow exit when I heard voices from the outside. To my calculation, there are two of them talking just behind the wooden door. “J-Jeric! Huwag sa leeg, pinagpapawisan ako.” That . . . that language is new to my ears. Our language in Audravaria is different, but strangely, I can understand them.

Happy smiles on their lips, so bright that it is impossible to look straight. Everything is like the past has changed. The other woman took her mother's life, and the other girl took hers. Her father, it seemed, was no longer her father. Aurora feels like falling into a fog, everything becomes blurry, and there is no way out. This was wrong. It was distorted-twisted. Like whoever was howling wasn't entirely...right. I shivered. Something was out there.
