This woman was made of ice, her hair as white as snow, her long white dress freezing everything it came in contact with. She looked like a goddess, with her grey eyes and silver coloured lips. She carefully enfolded Xavier in an icy bed, making sure the ice flowing from her body didn't freeze him. Then she turned and walked away with him, not throwing a single glance to the other witch that was almost dying.

She paused. “What about the green?” Luka looked at Marquise in her curiosity. “A half wolf…” Marquise replied in a heavy tone. Luka wrinkled her forehead. “What does it mean?” Marquise walked to the table and she poured the wine for herself. She sipped it once, twice, and third times… “You know what my last battle was?” She asked Luka with her piercing stare. “That old witch is The Wehr…” “The Wehr? The Protector, you mean?” Luka stirred her glass of wine in her hand.

The moment she’s gone, I close my eyes and exhale through my teeth. Fuck. What is this woman doing to me? I thought I burned this out years ago. Buried it under rage, duty, blood.
