Olympus

Olympus

"How were you able to identify it at all?" Dennis seemed to remember then that she was still fairly new to the operation and he calmed himself down to explain. "You see, Miss Months, every item in Olympus's storage has been tagged with a Doomsday beacon, which as the name implies, is only activated when said item is activated in a such a manner as to be classified as a doomsday.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

"Vane! Trigger the high-voltage arcs in the ventilation shafts! We need to create Ozone!" Ozone, a powerful oxidant, was the only thing that could kill the spores without destroying the city. Audrey and a small team of Smoke-Walkers—whose wolf-blood provided a high metabolic resistance to the pheromones—had to crawl through the city’s secondary ducts, which were already being choked by white, spider-web-like fungi.

Her Oasis; His Destruction

Her Oasis; His Destruction

Pius threw his hands in the air helplessly, "What do you mean the true heir. You took care of it, Rufus, didn't you?" Rufus relied tonelessly "Not nearly. I ordered Cyprus to." "So how can you tell he's alive?" "The red moon." This time, Leonard spoke, "The red moon?" "Yes son, the red moon. The red moon appears when it's time for an alpha to take a mate. The moon becomes red. Almost like it is covered by a red veil. We thought we had wiped the alpha's lineage off until the red moon came in view a fortnight ago." Rufus's breath had become ragged. His voice was a strangled whisper.

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

I narrowed my eyes and moved through them, swinging my axe with deadly accuracy. “Eugenius! I already took your left hand. Now I’ll take your head.” I called out, pointing my axe at my predecessor. The red aura that has been growing stronger around me surrounded my axe. The blood of the men I killed for standing in my way dripped from its blade. It is time to fulfill the prophecy. I am the Destroyer, and the fall of Olympus is in my hands. I shall not fail my people. I will not fail this world. I will not fail Ismene-Eirene.

I've followed Bryant's books mainly through her werewolf stories, which are amazing, but I am obsessed with the Destroyer - the details about Greek Mythology remind me of my Granny reading to me as a child. Expertly written as always, love the humanity of the characters. Regularly updated as well.

So in love with this sweet romance. At chapter 47 we are about to a simmer, I have a feeling by chapter 55 there will be a full boil going between these two. Bryant delivers two unforgettable main characters and easily layers in many others so that we get to know the whole cast without confusion.

She Tempted The Devil

She Tempted The Devil

Asmo was determined to give the Ozone layer a break during the festive holidays. It had been Belzebub and Satan's brightest idea to destroy the ozone layer and exacerbate global warming while contemplating how to torment future generations of humanity yet to be born. The concept disgusted Asmo, not only because of the suffering it would bring upon future generations, but also because it epitomized the beauty of the planet Earth that would be lost in their reckless pursuit of fulfilling the prophecy of inflicting unimaginable pain upon humanity before the judgment trumpets sounded.

Rejected By Her Mate

Rejected By Her Mate

The captives, aware of the impending revelation, exchanged nervous glances. The tunnels opened into a cavernous chamber, an eerie glow emanating from an ancient structure at its center. Luna, her instincts attuned to the mystical forces at play, stepped forward. The captives, trembling with a mixture of fear and anticipation, pointed towards the mysterious structure. Alpha Zephyr, his gaze fixed on the enigmatic device, questioned Luna. "What is this place? What do we need to do?" Luna, her connection to the primal forces strengthening, approached the structure. "They call it 'the destroyer.' It seems to hold the key to dismantling the remnants of the sinister group and eradicating their inf

The Alpha’s Second Life

The Alpha’s Second Life

"My Omegas don't run hot. We’re ghosts in your machine. Now, take your hand off that console before I take the hand off your arm." Vance’s eyes darted to the large, shielded button at the center of the desk. The Salt-Bomb. A high-altitude chemical dispersal unit designed to strip the moisture from every living cell on the North Ridge. It wouldn't just kill the wolves; it would turn the entire mountain into a sterile, white graveyard for the next century.

HIS TO DESTROY

HIS TO DESTROY

ESTEBAN'S POV The hologram device sat on the desk as Esteban stared at it, knowing what was coming, knowing he'd failed. The compound was in chaos. Fires still burned in three sections. The sanctum was destroyed. Five guards were dead, three more were missing, and the subjects were gone. All of them. Cruz, the boy, the hacker, the traitor, Mateo. Even Lucien, who was supposed to be their perfect weapon, was gone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Believe it or not, 'ova' is one of those tiny crossword building blocks that shows up with more personality than you'd expect. I see it mostly used in two broad ways: the literal biological sense — eggs, female gametes — and as a neat little abbreviation that constructors lean on when they need three letters that are vowel-heavy and crossword-friendly. In themed puzzles, constructors often use 'ova' as a motif: if the theme is Easter, spring, birds, reproduction, or anything egg-related, 'ova' can be the tidy little revealer or a repeated element stitched into longer theme answers. You'll sometimes find it literally hidden across two words in theme entries (like the letters O‑V‑A spanning a phrase), or placed in circles/rebuses to signify an egg icon in the grid.

Beyond thematic decoration, 'ova' is a solver-friendly fill because it's familiar and uncontroversial, so it gets slipped into the grid to preserve symmetry without drawing attention. Sometimes crossword cluing leans into wordplay: a clue might read 'They develop into embryos' or 'Female reproductive cells,' which points solvers straight to 'OVA.' Other constructors will cheekily clue it by referencing biology class or even fandoms — 'direct-to-video anime releases' is a modern-style clue in puzzles that nod toward pop-culture audiences, giving the same three letters a completely different vibe.

I enjoy spotting the different uses because they reveal the constructor's intent: are they being literal, playful, or trying to bridge science and pop culture? It’s a tiny entry, but it can tell you a lot about the puzzle's personality — and I like that kind of subtlety in a themed grid.
