The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

Niarthen disapproved of the retreat. “That 4WD looked remarkably like the one that we smashed the zombie with, don’t you think?” She replied tensely as she drove on. There was a sign: Look Out Point. She took the turning, climbing the hill. “We couldn’t drive on because the road is smashed. I didn’t want to park behind that 4WD because I thought it might belong to someone from The Order of Nexsis. So, we’ll park up here,” she parked on the small gravel flat framed by a fence intended to deter people from passing rather than prevent it. “And walk.” “A sound plan,” he approved.

Zion

Zion

The scream that left my lips started from the very depths of my lungs, crackling though the air and mixing well with the sound of the vibrating thunder. I let all my pain out; as much as I could at least but I knew I couldn't stay up here forever so after a hour more or so, I made my way down. I landed into the forest that boarded the lake so no one would be able to see me. Once my wings were gone, I began my trek back to the lake. The lightening show was still flashing in the sky over head but it was dry lightening; no rain.

I normally read werewolf stories, which is how I found this author as I've been reading the Kylie's other books. This is the first story I've read with Demons and Angels, and I have really enjoyed it. A massive congratulations to Kylie for another great story. Looking forward to more stories :)

I was enthralled by this story of good and and evil. I believe you are a little closer to the mark than most which makes this story very interesting to read. I was very impressed. I definitely think you should do a follow up. Your writing is very talented. Thank you for an amazing tale. Please more.

My Alaskan Mountain Man

My Alaskan Mountain Man

While Cammie and Willow are in the kitchen making a pot of coffee and fixing some sandwiches and biscuits to eat, the Sheriff calls Robin into his study so they can talk in confidentiality. Robin is taken aback by all the cloak and dagger, “is everything okay Sheriff?” Sheriff Penser, still tense says in a quiet voice, “still no word on Cammie’s sister, but after some investigation I’ve managed to trace the fancy log cabin Cammie mentioned in her statement back to the ‘Grand Mountain Lodge’, the one up on Denali National Reserve. It’s the lodge all the big city rich folk use for their mountain getaways. From what I can tell, the lodge rents out black trucks with the three pine tree slogan on

Riding with the Pack

Riding with the Pack

I recognized Red and Gunner in their wolf forms and gave them a wave as we sped by. They turned and began chasing behind us and eventually caught up, running along beside our bikes. Red let out a howl. Others must have heard because we were soon joined by Goldie, Wyatt, Shorty, Brat, and Liam in their wolf forms. They all continued to let out howls as they ran along with us. In the open desert, the wind whipping in my hair on my beautiful bike, and with pack members all around me, I almost felt like one of them.

"She's injured and can't keep up." "So you're going to carry her the whole way down the mountain?" Trent snarled, seeming displeased for some reason. Actually, a good reason seeing as how they'd come away without their main purpose: David. Or was there more at play here, given he seemed reluctant to release his grip? "I'll carry her to the motel if I have to," Darren replied, tightening his grip. "She's not like us." "No shit, Sherlock. But we've got about thirty miles to cover. You aren't going to be able to carry her the entire way while outrunning the rogues."

The Lycan King

The Lycan King

He drew an upside-down 'V' to depict a mountain. "It's the tallest and the largest one in the pack. Not just this one, but of all the packs. Coincidentally, it lies in the centre of our supernatural island as well. Exactly in the centre, Avalyn." And then he traced a large circle with the mountain at its centre. "It's exactly equidistant from the north, south, east, and west. You don't understand the kind of advantage we will have if we set the entire pack on this mountain, Love." And then he made a smaller circle around the mountain. "This is the Montana Pack." And then he made another circle which touched the border of the Montana pack and the west coast. "And this is the Rogue pack."

" I say Micheal climbs in the drivers seat and Peter sits next to him in the front. Me and Ansel take the back, I sit in the middle with Ansel on one side, and the cooler on the other. Our pack lands sit in the shadows of Mount McLoughlin, near a place called fourmile lake by humans.

Expert Down The Mountain

Expert Down The Mountain

Felix flashed him a grin and asked, “Oh yeah, Mr. Yarde. How did you get to the top of the mountain? Was no one standing guard there?” Kayson replied, “There was, but I defeated them all.” Shaking his head, Felix replied, “Stop messing with me, Mr. Yarde. There was more than one grandmaster-level fighter stationed on top of the mountain.” Kayson said, “I’m telling you the truth… Forget about it. You won’t believe me anyway.” ‘Of course I won’t. How am I supposed to believe something like that?’ Kayson said, “I’m going back to Skyspring. What about you?”

I almost feel like I could fall back to sleep, but I want to spend time with my mate today. “Tell me about your pack,” she says. I turn and look at her because I can. She really is exquisitely beautiful. She glances over at me and raises an eyebrow. “Your pack?” “Sorry, I got lost in your beauty for a moment,” I tell her honestly. I pull my eyes away from her and look at the road in front of us so I can concentrate. “My pack is set in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I have just over two hundred pack members. The pack is set on the secluded side of a huge lake that partially freezes over in the winter and reflects the forest and the sky like a mirror in the summer.”

I am enjoying reading this author, ‘Cooper’ and especially the guardian series. I like meeting the different generations of these families, and watching them grow. It is interesting how the author is bringing in the various supernatural species. ...️...
