The Holidate Pact

The Holidate Pact

Started pulling down boxes from the top shelf. Old tournament trophies. Photos. Random stuff I'd shoved up there when I moved in. A napkin fell out of one of the boxes. White. Wrinkled. Writing in black pen. The Mel's Diner napkin. Our pact. I picked it up. Unfolded it carefully. The paper was soft from being folded and unfolded so many times. **THE HOLIDATE PACT** *Rules:* *1. Holidays only* *2. No feelings* *3. No expectations*

Paper Promises

Paper Promises

“Protocol.” I flick the folio open. It reads like intimacy pretending to be logistics. Shared calendar access, our names braided through the week. A short list titled Media Notes (smile with your eyes; touch his sleeve if you need to end a question; if you don’t want to answer, say, “That’s generous—next one”). A one-page Security Agreement with checkboxes. No devices monitored. Driver at night. Visible detail at events. Maya: off-limits unless I say otherwise. He watches me read. Not impatient. Concentrated. “If any of it feels wrong, we change it.”

A PACT TO LOVE

A PACT TO LOVE

A few months later… Bailey's POV “Thank you for coming with me,” I said as I adjusted my seatbelt. “You don't need to thank me, according to this book, it's my duty.” He said, pointing to the pregnancy help book on his lap, William has been reading a lot of these pregnancy help books over the weeks and I personally think the author sucks. Just last week, he kept trying to convince me to go for something called a vagina steam, and don't get me started on the time he practically coerced me into making a mayonnaise face mask. How does that help the baby?

Forbidden Protection(Forbidden Series: Book One)

Forbidden Protection(Forbidden Series: Book One)

I said wondering where this whole conversation was heading, "I want you to protect her," he said turning his phone screen to me, 'her'? my eyes slowly fell on the screen, a girl with her blonde hair packed in a ponytail sat with a pile of books by her side, she is obviously a nerd even her big round glasses say a lot, she looked fixated on whatever information she was getting from the book that even if an attack was to happen in the room right beside her she may not even know, but something about her made me feel there was more than what meets the eyes, "A girl really?" I asked in a bored tone,

A CONTRACT FROM THE DEVIL

A CONTRACT FROM THE DEVIL

Public Rivalry The engagement contract lay on the mahogany table like a venomous snake, its pages still warm from Elena’s trembling fingers. Valentina’s elegant script mocked her from the final note: Some contracts never truly end. Ask your wife what her father really traded for his debts. The truth is coming, darling.

I’m genuinely enjoying this story. Elena is a relatable and resilient heroine whose love for her sister makes every decision understandable. Sandro’s mysterious personality keeps me curious, and the contract-marriage premise is full of tension and emotion.

I'm already so invested in Elena's story. Watching her do everything she can to protect Claire broke my heart. Then Alessandro enters the picture with that shocking contract, and the tension goes through the roof. I love that Elena doesn't give in easily despite everything she's facing.

A Pulse And Betrayal

A Pulse And Betrayal

I took it with shaking hands and read the bold words at the top: “Official Supply Partnership – Extended to All Branches” She held the paper in my hand, still shaking. “They said they want a contract. Long-term one. To supply cupcakes and other baked items to all their company branches. Omo! And they say their company driver will pick it up every morning.” My eyes widened. I read the lines twice. Three times. I stood there for a moment, not moving, not speaking. Then I slowly dropped the piping bag and wiped my hands on my apron.

The Dark Alpha's Pet

The Dark Alpha's Pet

I say in a muffled tone. “Hello, my little bookworm. How was your meeting?” I grunt in explanation and refuse to move from my face-plant position. “That bad huh? I am assuming you were late?” Patrick, the librarian and historian of our pack, says in a teacher-like tone. I lift my head just a bit to grumble out my words. “Me being late is not the point!” After a minute I add, “How was the book?” Patrick laughs, “Oh! I gotta say, chapter 9. What a doozy!”

Excellent storyline and writing style, few grammatical errors, well developed plot and characters. This new writer is ranking up there with my favorite authors. Looking forward to reading more from them.

The Nightmare

The Nightmare

Patrick responded and I smiled. "Okay. Just remember that you said that." I answered and he rolled his eyes. "Anyway, I found a few books that looked good to start with." he gestured to a stack of dusty books next to him. For the next hour, we sorted through a few of the books together, finding some interesting information about witches and covens. "Look at this." I pushed an open book towards Patrick.

Really engaging story with an interesting take on the usual werewolf themes - hope you are able to update soon though as I’m dying to know what happens next! It’s been a while since the last one, hope everything is ok with you

Great book. Well paced, intriguing characters with very solid world building. My one qualm is that there are, at times, too many characters. Often there are a lot of names being thrown around and its hard to tell who's who.
