Was it Harry Potter going on live in front of me? My mouth was wide open while my eyes opened big like balls. He entered the room with me trailing behind. The room is pitch dark. I couldn't decipher a thing. All of a sudden, lights emerged from a point coming straight to my eyes. I covered my eyes with my hands and peeked through the gaps in between my fingers. Lights were emitting from a big round circle that was formed in the air. It's enchanting. The vibrant colors spread everywhere. Erix pulled me closer and picked me up in his arms and entered the portal.

"I will do everything within my power to save your child." With utmost care, Draco scooped me up in his arms, cradling me against his chest as he carried me to the inner chamber. Laying me down gently on the cool floor, he retrieved a worn spellbook, its pages crackling with ancient knowledge. His eyes skimmed the text as his fingers traced the faded glyphs upon the pages, his voice resonating with a mixture of power and vulnerability as he began to chant the incantations that promised to defy the natural order.

He would take over all universes and no one but me would be able to stop him. The problem is would I be able to. I set the papers on my lap just in case. I looked at the book and I had to close my eyes. There were tabs marking certain pages. I would look to see what he marked off before trying to tap into the magic. I skimmed through the book to the first tab. (Unbreakable wards.) Was the first spell he was looking at. I had to leave sooner than now, I should've left yesterday because if he got these wards up only my full magic could break them and that would take time that I most likely would never get.

She wore the neck lace kerchief, yet he could tell it didn’t do her justice because it didn’t hide how her bosom almost spilled over the top of her bodice. He walked toward his uncle who came his way. “What can I do for you, Uncle?” “I thought you would like to play a game with us. Lady Sarah mentioned she had learned a new game that expands on Trundling Hoop and Roll, but she doesn’t quite remember how to play.” Henry ran his fingers through his salt and pepper colored hair and gave Gabe a crooked smile. “With you traveling so much, I was hoping you had learned this game as well.”

He growled loudly, shaking the four corners of the room. His transformation was swift, as was Lord Potter's. He grabbed Alpha Harry and pushed him off the second floor. The windows and the balcony shattered as well. “I’m not scared of you, Alpha Harry.” Lord Potter growled, staring at Alpha Harry’s red eyes. He refused to respect Alpha Harry, knowing that he had never said a wrong word to him. “I’m going to teach you a lesson.” Alpha Harry pounced on Lord Potter, but he flipped him over, pushing him with a large amount of force into a tree that snapped a lot of branches, shattering the windscreen of the cars parked around it.

A blacksmith swore loyalty to the crown— And the metal in his forge softened like wax without heat. None of it catastrophic. None of it violent. But undeniable. The laws of magic were bending. Not because Lily commanded it. Because her existence was recalibrating the field. Luke stood in the war chamber staring at reports spread across the table. “Spontaneous manifestation,” one general muttered. “Localized distortions,” said another. “Divine contamination,” whispered a priest. Lily stood at the center of the room, silent.

I muttered, opening the first page. I needed to start working on myself so that I could erase all thoughts of Xavier’s sister from his memory. On the first page of the book was a table of content, showing all that was to be found in the book. I scrolled down from the introduction and jumped to “Casting your first spell.” I traced my finger on the dotted lines and found the page number. I opened the book and when I got to this page, I stopped. The name of the contact was boldly written in capital letters and it took the whole page. Opening to the next page, I found it’s content.

Khyrix immediately stepped between me and the text, "Let me go through it." He laid the book on the table. As he carefully opened the heavy cover to the table of contents, I leaned over his shoulder, holding my breath. There was a strange substance growing all over the pages. Whatever it was, it grew like a network of veins, wrapping tightly around the edges of each sheet. Khyrix’s eyes scanned down the table of contents, instantly opening to page four hundred and thirteen. The page revealed a highly detailed, hand-drawn illustration. It was an exact replica of the massive tree that stood at the heart of our academy grounds.

I leaned closer. Reading more carefully now. Trying to understand every word. Every line. Every meaning. And then— My hand stilled. Because halfway down the page— It stopped. Not naturally. Not cleanly. Torn. The page had been ripped out. The rest of the spell— Gone. My chest tightened sharply. “No…” I flipped the page. Hoping. Expecting. But the next page— Was different. Not instructions. Not a continuation. Just a single line. Written boldly.

Always claiming. Finally, when the fire burned low and most of the pack had stumbled off to their dens, Ronan stood and pulled me to my feet. "Time for the final ritual," he said, and there was no mistaking the hunger in his voice now. He led me away from the clearing, away from the dying fire, toward his den. My den now. Our den. The word made me want to vomit. As we walked, I saw Maeve one last time. She stood in the shadows near the tree line, watching. Waiting. As I passed, she raised her hand to her wrist—the scarred one—and then pointed toward the forest.
