A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

Gregory Ellingtonhead mistress lexi
I darted through the rain, my shoes already soaked by the time I slid into the backseat. "Where to?" the driver asked, wiping condensation from his windshield. I gave him Hazel's address as I shook raindrops from my hair. The cab pulled away from the curb, windshield wipers working overtime against the relentless downpour. By the time we reached Hazel's building, the storm had intensified. Lightning flashed, briefly turning night to day, followed by a crack of thunder that vibrated through the cab. "That'll be sixteen fifty," the driver said, eyeing the downpour with sympathy.

If there were less unnecessary repeated conversations and scenes, this book might never be completed. Ignoring this annoying every 2nd paragraph occurrence, the 35% that isn’t an exact repeat of last chapter, makes this story a great read & the characters are all easily relatable even if far fetched

Whatever the reason for delaying the update, giving us only 4 episodes per 10,12 days isn't enough. Give us at least 7 or 8 episodes please!! It should be worth waiting for so long. I always have to re read previous episodes to remember what was happening in the story before starting new ones sadly

Moonlight Serenade [English]

Moonlight Serenade [English]

It was dark at five o'clock in the afternoon. Probably because of the incoming Low Pressure Area that's now in the southeastern part of Samar. The LPA is expected to appear in the PAR over the weekend according to News. A few minutes later, heavy rain fell. It hit hard but Jewel didn't budge. She resolutely walked under the heavy rain and gusty wind, holding her umbrella's handle tightly. Thunder roared and lightning shone in the sky. Her body shivered in cold and fear but she swallowed and continued to stride.

Flying Death

Flying Death

he says, as I slam it again at the stop sign. Before I knew it, I’d driven around for about twenty minutes and I was feeling pretty good about it. Didn’t kill anyone, take out any mailboxes. As I went through a roundabout at a dead end it was like the bottom gave out and it started completely downpouring. “Aw shit,” Punch grumbles. “Yeah I don’t wanna drive in this,” I admit, my eyes wide. It was like raining from every which way, and suddenly there was no visibility.

After Five Years

After Five Years

"We have to be careful!" The driver nodded, his face full of regret. "I'm sorry, Doctor. The road is very slippery. I will be more careful." I sighed deeply, trying to calm myself. I knew the driver was trying his best, but the road was really bad. The heavy rains of the past few days had turned the dirt road into a slippery and dangerous mud pool. I turned to Julien, who was still hugging Mrs. Narti's body tightly. His face was pale, but his eyes were full of determination.

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Finally, her fist slammed into the screen of the laptop in front of her! … In the evening, it started raining heavily. The heavy downpour filled the roads with rainwater. Standing at the entrance to the hotel beside the amusement park, Lucas raised his head and looked at the raindrops pouring from the sky. “Sir, I don’t think we can make it back tonight.” The amusement park was located in the suburbs, traffic was already poor, and now the roads were clogged with rainwater. Plus, they had the two children with them. Joshua glanced at the time and nodded. “Then we’ll spend the night here tonight.” The heavy rainfall would continue for some time.

Midnight Howling

Midnight Howling

"I'm here at a classmate's house. It's pouring heavily here. I am about to leave because this place is going to flood. It's better to leave than to get stranded. " "It's raining, and you're riding a motorcycle. Have you got a raincoat? If you run into the heavy rain, you might get sick." "My love is so sweet." I even heard Jasper laugh on the other line. "Just wait for me so that we can go home together." "Keep going. Some of the roads you're on are flooded. Could you go straight to the house? "Huh? How are you getting home? It's hard to ride now because it's raining hard," Jasper said on the other line.

Beautiful Disaster

Beautiful Disaster

When Elijah left work for the day, the weather had taken a turn for the worst, with the Bay seeing the heaviest rains since the start of Spring. The run from the entrance of Sea Point's police station to his car was quick, but by the time he slipped behind the wheel, he was drenched to the bone. He unzipped his K-Way jacket and pulled out a file, relieved to see it wasn't soaked like he'd feared. He dumped it on the dashboard and gazed at it in wonder, feeling pretty chuffed with himself.

Flirting With The Werewolf!

Flirting With The Werewolf!

Judging by the amount of water collected on the ground, the rain yesterday was truly heavy. Parker looked gloomy and heavy-hearted, driving the car as if flying. Water splashed on both sides of the car. After such a downpour, it seemed that many clues at the crime scene would be covered up, which would greatly hinder the investigation process. Harmony sat silently beside her, gazing out the window, lost in thought.

HE LEFT ME FOR MY STEPSISTER, I MOVED ON TO THE NEXT

HE LEFT ME FOR MY STEPSISTER, I MOVED ON TO THE NEXT

Finally, freedom at last. I pushed myself harder. My soaked shirt clung to me as the skies opened up, rain crashing down in torrents. Each drop was icy, soaking me to the bone, turning the dirt beneath my feet into mud. I reached the highway, stumbling onto the slick asphalt, drenched and half-blind. Cars hissed past, their headlights cutting through sheets of rain. I waved frantically. “Help! Please!” My voice cracked, swallowed by the storm.
