I tucked my hair behind my ear and tried to walk away only to notice a pair of paper lying on the floor. I picked up the paper and tried to call the attention of the man who bumped into me. The paper might have mistakenly fallen from his hands. Checking the paper, my hands shook slightly when I saw the content in it. "Did you see the rose flowers I sent to you? And why are you Ignoring my message?" The paper fell from my hand when I read the text. I didn't notice there was a rose flower on the floor at first but now I can see clearly that this person is actually closer to me than I imagined.

I feel his fingers pushing my hair to the side then he places a kiss on my bare shoulder. "How's it going with the new Chapter?" He asks. "It's going great so far, I'm almost done." "Good, because you've been sitting in front of that thing for a while now, you need to eat and rest your eyes." He manages my shoulders and I briefly close my eyes, feeling my muscles loosen a little. "Okay," I say. He places a kiss on top of my head and heads out. I finally reach the part where I have to write about the strip poker scene and I'm excited to write it down. I enter everything exactly as I remember it. Once I'm done with the Chapter, I go through it three times and then smile at my successfulness.

|| Author POV || Rosa pinched her eyebrows. A letter? “Oath of blood?” Rosa mumbled the book title. She tilted her head, confused. The title sounded ominous. She picked it up, but the folded piece of paper slipped from between the pages and floated silently to the floor. Rosa’s eyes followed it as it floated gently down. “How scary.” she whispered to herself, pouting. Her heartbeat thudded lightly as she got down the chair. The cold floor met her bare feet. She bent down and picked up the paper. So she was right.

I only smiled until my eyes curved like crescents. Something seemed to block Mason's throat. He stepped back from the closet and accidentally bumped the bookshelf with his shoulder. Something fell from the top shelf and hit the floor with a slap. A dark-blue journal with a worn, fraying cover lay open on the floor. He bent to pick it up, but his gaze caught the first lines on the exposed page. "I came back from ten years in the future."

I was about to close it when a small star shaped red flower caught my attention. The flower was attach on the small black paper. I'm not good in naming flowers and this is my first time seeing this kind of flower. I didn't saw anything like this in Mommy Adeline's garden. I narrowed my eyes before I slowly reach the paper. It was folded into two and base on the texture of the paper, it seems like it was not an ordinary paper that I used to see. I scanned my eyes around the locker room, I was all alone here. Although I'm doubting, I still dare to open it. Frown instantly reflected on my eyes when I saw what's written on it.

"Seeds I purchased from the market. Guess what they make?" "What?" "Hydrangea flowers. Sold really cheap. The Capital has been selling them in the shops." Jackson looked to Melinda. "I thought this was supposed to be banned?" "It was. Mother gave the order before passing things on to Valli." Melinda looked at the seeds in horror. "These look fresh." "They are." The 1st Emperor stood up to excuse himself. "I need to inform Valli." Melinda nodded and left with him. Cassandra following behind as well.
